carlotta carisi has a problem— well actually, her father has a problem

the problem being that he's painfully lonely and single to the point of it being sad, carlotta could see the loneliness swimming in eyes, that's why they moved around new york so much, he was looking for a woman to put an end to his everlasting loneliness— at least that's the conclusion carlotta came up with on why he'd worked in almost every police station in new york city

carlotta was a teenage girl and with most teenage girls, they loved love, they wanted to fall in love, watch or read about other people falling love, and carlotta was no exception, she wanted her dad to be happy and fall in love, he'd been so focused on raising her and giving her everything that she wanted, that'd he'd forgotten to do something for himself, forgotten what it felt like to love someone that wasn't family

so she came up with a plan— well specifically, she and her best friend bay came up with a plan to get her dad a girlfriend

carrying out the plan would be a bit tricky though, her dad was pretty busy saving lives and spending all of his free time with her but if there was one thing that sonny carisi was, it was being a major pushover when it came to his only daughter, so it wouldn't be that hard to get him to agree, he could never resist the puppy dog eyes

but just as they're about to put their plan in action, a major problem comes forth, bay's delinquent cousin, gage, gets puts into the custody of her parents and she gets put on babysitting duty to make sure he stays out of trouble— and the problem with that is outside of school and their house, he has to be with her at all times

but carlotta and bay spent too much time plotting to just let it go to waste, so they do the only thing they could think of, they brought him along, which probably wasn't the best idea, but neither of the girls were keen on giving up

carlotta and gage find it difficult to get along, their personalities were completely different, but bay can see the chemistry the two of them have, so she makes her own little plan

carlotta might be trying to find the perfect girl for her beloved dad, but bay found the perfect guy for her best friend, she just has to get the two to stop arguing long enough for them to realize how perfect for each other they are
