I closed my eyes and became one with the water

Forget about the people, forget about the competition.

For now it's just me, my surf board, and the water

I gave myself a headstart and planked on my board slowly but surely drifting myself into the water.

Once i am farther into the shore I stood up making sure to create balance, control and speed

I sighed and bit my lip as the pressure and nervousness starts to build up inside me.

I bent my knees and kept my eyes locked into the upcoming waves

When the wave approached I immediately swung my board and surfed sidewards with the wave

I heard people cheering and clapping which made me calm for a moment

As another wave is coming I prepared my stance.

Unlike before the wave is big which made me nervous

When it finally approached I surfed upward the. downward from the wave which the received another set of loud cheers and applauses from the crowd

As each waves come past by me I executed different stunts and stances which I think I did a pretty good job on

"Good job Jimin" I thought as I mentally pat myself at the back

I went back ashore and was greeted with people cheering and clapping their hands

I bowed and quickly said my thank you's  and gave the floor to the next contestant

"Wow Jimin i'm so proud of you!" Jin squeaked beside me as I went to the surfer's locker area to dry myself up

"You really looked cool while you're surfing dude and you don't want to know how many times I heard the phrase "he's hot" over and over again from thirsty teenagers back there." Jin ranted

"Jin it's nothing man, and you know I love surfing. The jimin you know is gone once he is with the water." I said

"Well you're right. By the way do you remember Sung jae? Our batch mate when we were in 4th year?" Jin suddenly asked which kind of surprised me because we don't really talk about our high school years

"Umm yeah, Yook Sung Jae? What about him?"

"He's having a massive beach party for a week this april, and I swear we have to go man it's gonna be lit as fuck." Jin excitedly said

"A party? Are we invited tho?" I asked

I was never really close with Sung Jae, well I see him a lot because we were batch mates and he was really popular back then

"Yeah everyone in our batch is invited!! Everyone is gonna be there" Jin squealed

So Jungkook is gonna be there too

"Everyone huh? So you think Jungkook is gonna be there?" I asked

Jin was obviously shocked with what I asked as his facial expression changed with confusion

"Well I guess so? You know Jungkook never misses parties especially a party this big." Jin said still slightly weirded out with my question

"Well then. We're going" I said

Jin seemed to notice that I have something planned to do for this party

"Wait Jimin, what are you thinking?" Jin asked slightly worried

"What? Nothing! Why?" I asked acting like I don't know what he is saying

"I know you Jimin, knowing that you and Jungkook have a past and the expression of yours I know you have something in mind."

"Fine, I do have something in mind. But it's a secret for now, Jungkook has to know what kind of monster just created, and this party will be great opportunity to do so."
