The beautiful chimes of the wedding church's bell. The wondrous sight of the altar adorned with fragrant white flowers. The dashingly red carpet that covered the pathway of the bride.
Ah. On the church entrance was of course the most charming and giddy bride he had ever seen, wearing a pure white dress that trailed down to her feet and brushing against the carpet.
Her locks that was neatly pulled into a ponytail softly swayed back and forth as she walked towards the aisle. Her sparkling eyes were trained forward to a certain man, a large grin making its way to her lips, lightly tinted with the color of pink lipstick. Even the veil on her face didn't obstruct the simple yet dazzling looks of her.
Her relatives were crying. His coworkers were crying. Everyone was crying.
'Ugh. So annoying.'
It looked so out of this world. It was like a dream come true for him and her.
But not for him.
Watching the person he loves be married to another man, his rival to top that, made him so resentful. He wanted to crush everything he sees. He wanted to spill their blood. Make them scream in anguish—
And then she looked at him. She looked at him and flashed a smile of gratitude. A smile so wide that it felt like her cheeks would split. It was so beautiful. So innocent that it made the furious male calm down.
That's the magic she has on him. Every gesture she does towards him is a miracle that can make his boiling nerves simmer down in an instant.
He couldn't bear to see her crying. He couldn't bear to see her sad. That's why, he was satisfied. Satisfied by the fact that she wasn't the one by that altar even though it hurts. It hurts so much that he wanted to die.
'But dying means not being able to see her smile anymore.'
The redhead watched in agony as his rival took her small hands into his. Watched as they marched towards the priest. Watched as the priest relay the words of God that binds them together. Watched as they recite their vows. Watched as the priest pronounced them as husband and wife.
'Godd*mmit. The priest didn't even ask if there are any objections. I could've stood and voiced my objections and the thousand reasons why.'
Watched as the person he loath and the person he love kiss under the Heaven's guidance.
He sighed, looking down as a lone tear escaped his crystal blue eye.
'If only it was me...'

"Boss! Boss..!? Boss!?" An obnoxious voice called out as the owner of the voice waved her gloved hands around. "Whatchu looking at?
Chuuya ignored his new subordinate, still looking at the wedding picture he got as a commemoration. He "accidentally" kicked Dazai while the shot was being taken and therefore, it was just him and her. With the redhead's smart tuxedo and her wedding dress, it definitely looked like it was their wedding. They could've been a married couple for two years...
'If only it was me...'
"Boss!!! When can I infiltrate the agency? Come on, Boss. Boss! Boss!?"
"Oh, shut up, will you?" Chuuya snapped, glaring at his subordinate. He finally turned off his phone, sliding it in his pocket. "... Let's go."
He cracked his neck, his gloved hands twisting it at an angle to relieve it from the stress of the coming strenuous day. He then brushed his bangs aside, his curly reddish brown locks momentarily flying in the process. Finally, he adjusted his fedora hat and black coat that was draping over his shoulders.
'But the thing is... It's not me.'
