Wind blowing, making a wall that was nearly impregnable. Fighting against it, like the tide of humanity. She had always stuck out. Not like a sore thumb, but more of a headache. The kind that you think will go away after a couple of Tylenol. But this one didn't. It stayed there, on the verge of pain but... not, at the same time. This one just wanted to let you know that she was still there. No matter how many Tylenol you take, she persists. There was nothing wrong with her. It was just uncomfortable. There was no need for Tylenol. Not really anyway. But you took it all the same, trying to force her away, never really thinking about it because it was normal to take those Tylenol, and think that it will solve all of your problems.
