fifteen || the five golden trainers

Ash ran as fast as he could, into the forest right beside the hotel they were staying in. His eyes were full of tears yet filled with determination deep inside. He was going to save (Y/N).

Why is it always her? Why can't it be him, instead? Why? What has she ever done to them? All she ever wanted was a peacful stay here at Kalos, and this is what she gets?

As he ran, all of a sudden, he felt a stabbing pain in his chest. He stopped as he fell to his knees, clutching his chest. He gritted his teeth in pain. What was going on? Eventually, the pain ended and he shakily stood up, deciding that he'd worry about that later. All that mattered now was (Y/N).

Inside room #314 at Kalos Hotel were four teenagers, three of them sleeping soundly at their comfortable beds. A girl with long, light brown hair slept at the bed right beside the window, her eyes firmly shut. A lemon-haired boy slept at the bed right beside Serena while his younger sister, Bonnie, was sitting up on her bed, fixing her hair. She looked around and noticed that two of her friends, (Y/N) and Ash were gone. She grinned as she thought of the two outside, holding hands, chatting with each other. However, when she noticed a note on top of Ash's bed, that thought was instantly forgotten. She jumped out of bed and on to the his bed. She picked up the note, and opened it.

(Y/N) got kinapped again. I'm gonna find her. And STAY here.

Her eyes went wide as she finished reading, her heart beating rapidly. No. She's in danger, again? Seriously, what has she ever done? She turned around, debating on wheter to listen to him or wake Serena and Clemont up and go help him to find (Y/N). She bit her lip, torn between the two.

Serena's POV

I looked around, and realized that I was at a forest. I walked around, looking left and right. Where am I? What is this place? I kept walking when all of a sudden, I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I cried out in pain, falling to my knees in agony. What's happening to me? I thought as the pain slowly subsided, and I took a deep breath standing up.

"Serena," a voice called. I turned around, looking around to find the source of the voice. When I saw who it was that spoke, I froze, eyes widening. Arcues.

"It seems that one of you are in grave danger," she said.

I looked at her in confusion, "What?"

"You see, there is this evil team called Team Flare, and they bring no good upon this world. They posses Pokemon, sometimes even trainers, taking their powers. I chose five specific trainers and called them "The Golden Trainers" to stop them, and it appears that those five are you and your friends. However, it apprars that one of you are in grave danger and is need your help," my eyes widened. Arcues chose me? "Your chest was hurting just a minute ago, am I correct?" I nodded. "Then that means that one of you is in danger."

"(Y/N)!" I yelled. "B- but why did they capture her? I mean, they could've gotten us, instead. I mean, we're all part of the "Golden Trainers" right? Then why is it (Y/N)?" I asked.

"That is because your friend, (Y/N) is the first trainer I picked, making her your leader, I could say,"

Before I could say something, a scream of pain suddenly sent me back to the real world. A blinding light covered the whole forest and I covered my eyes.

I shot out of bed, looking around. That was just a dream, right? That wasn't real right? I'm not actually a part of the "Golden Trainers" right? However, as I felt a sharp pain in my chest -  not as bad as earlier - that made me think twice.

My eyes traveled to the floor, where two certain lemon-haired boy and girl are. My eyes widened as I saw Bonnie on the ground, clutching her chest as she continued to scream in agony while Clemont watched helplessly at her sister, saying comforting words over and over. I felt my heart skip a beat, we are the golden trainers.. I jumped out of bed instantly and hurried over to them, "What's wrong?" I asked, even though I already know why.

Clemont looked at me and what I saw in his blue eyes were once happiness but was now filled fear and pain. "I- I don't k- know.. she- she was j- just fine a m- moment ago, and- and- and-" he looked close to tears.

"Clemont, I need you to calm down, please," I pleaded. He nodded and took a deep breath. Suddenly, Bonnie stopped screaming and she collapsed to the ground, completely unconsious. "Bonnie!" Clemont shouted as he carefully placed her head on his lap. "What's wrong with her?" He asked, fear coloring his tone.

I sighed, "Just now, I had a dream, and I was in a forest. All of a sudden, what happened to her happened to me too. Then, Arcues appered. She told me that me, you, Bonnie, Ash, and (Y/N) are part of the "Golden Trainers"" I explained. "You see, the person that's been kidnapping (Y/N) is called 'Team Flare' and all they do is possess Pokemon and trainers to get their powers. So that's why Arcues chose us five to stop them."

"Wait. (Y/N)'s been..." he looked over at her bed and noticed she was gone. "She.."

"Yes, she's been kidnapped... again.." I said sadly. We both noticed a note in Ash'd bed and I picked it up, reading it. "Ash's gonna save her," I said. "And he says to say here."

"But we have to help too," he quietly said. I nodded. "But.. what about.." he said, his eyes traveling to Bonnie. "We could leave her here and leave a note. She's too young. She can't... I mean, she is part of the Golden Trainers but.." I looked at him. "You decide. She's your sister,"

He thought for a second, then said, "I.. I don't know.. I mean, it's not like I don't trust her but.. I don't want her to be in danger.." I sighed. "So?"

"Well.. let's just leave her here I guess.." he said. "I'm sorry Bonnie." I heard him mutter to her.

"But wait.. why did Team Flare capture (Y/N)? I mean, they could've captured someone else since..."

"Yes. I asked her that too. It's apparently because she was chosen first, basically making her the leader," I said. He nodded. He carefullt placed Bonnie on her bed and quickly wrote a note then headed outside to rescue our friend.

They're so not gonna get away from this.

Phew that was long! Well.. at least I think it is.. btw I updated twice this day!! Yass!! *dances* okay, sorry. Anyway, about the story, it's getting really deep, huh? Yeah.. I don't know where the idea of the Golden Trainers came from too.. I think it's from the book I'm currently reading called The Heirs of Hogwarts (BTW IF UR A POTTERHEAD AND SHIPS HARMIONE, YOU HAVE TO READ THIS. I'm not done reading it, but it's been amazing so far) because on the founders were like choosing heirs for each house and yeah.. (if you are reading it or have read it you'll understand what I'm saying) but yeahh.. that's definetely where that idea came from.
