As Jane waited for all the "party" guests to arrive, her thoughts were going on a rampage of all the possibilities this night could go like;

"what happens if the girls don't get here on time" or "what happens if this starts an even BIGGER problem than before"

Jane's thoughts were travelling one to another

"Maybe we should just call the whole thing off— or should we?".
At this point Jane was drowning in her anxiety, the doorbell rang.

"This is it."

Jane said. If Josie got here first the whole plan would be ruined, but if the girls got here on time the plan could be saved.

Jane walked to the door, heart racing, pulse rising, this was it. Jane opened the door to 4 lovely girls on her porch. Jane let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding and she let the girls in.

"Alrighty let's get starte— Jane are you ok? You're sweating like a lot"

Anne said afraid Jane would faint at any given moment

"Oh yeah i'm fine it's just, what happens if the plan doesn't work, what will we do?" Jane announced while fanning the sweat off her face

"Then we will figure something out, together cause that's what friends do"

Anne directed as a statement to the rest of the girls including Jane, but before they knew it, the doorbell rang

"Oh shit oh SHIT that's josie everyone in the basement go, go, go"

Jane whispered to the rest of the girls afraid Josie would hear other voices through the door

"Jane why are you whispering?"

Ruby stated

"Oh just go to the basement!"

Jane whispered loudly

"Jane is that you?"

Josie said through the door

"Fuck"

Jane mouthed to herself before opening the door to let Josie in

"I was wondering what took so long"

Josie said with a small smile

"Hahaha yeah..."

Jane's voice trailed off, her trying to save herself from this particular moment

"Well you can just put your bags downstairs and I'll just come down in a minute"

Jane said trying to hide the fact that she was nervous like REALLY nervous of what is about to go down in the next 15 seconds

"Oh ok" Josie said

"Jane get down here right now!"

Josie said with frustration and anger in her voice, as soon as Jane heard Josie say that sentence, she knew it was going to be a very very long night

"Oh haha ok coming Josie"

Jane said with uncertainty not wanting to go downstairs to face the wrath of Josie Pye

"You seriously set me up" Josie said with anger laced in her voice

"I didn't set you up I just invited the rest of the girls over so we could have a fun time all together" Jane said but Josie didn't believe her for half a second just giving Jane and the other girls a death glare

"We just wanna talk to you Josie that's all" Anne said softly

"You're the last person I would want to speak to" Josie said to Anne

"But why?! What did I do to make you so angry with me, to make you so angry with us

"Oh I dunno maybe after stealing the guy I've had a crush on since 4th grade and then you guys, my so called "friends" just completely ignored me for about 2 months" Josie said

"I didn't steal Gilbert from you Josie he asked me out and I said yes you guys were never dating and he never liked you"

Anne said not believing the words that came out if Josie's mouth quite honestly Anne and everyone else were truly hurt by Josie's words

"And how did we ignore you Josie?" Diane said awfully confused as with everyone else

"Yeah actually I wanna hear this" Ruby said quite amazed

"In the summertime none of you called or hit me up at all except for Jane and Tillie, how are you guys supposed to be my so called friends if you don't even care about me at all"

Josie stated a little softer than before but still with a stern voice

"Josie that isn't true at all we do care about you, and look i'm sorry I may have forgotten to hit you up during the summer I truly apologize for that and I think I speak for everyone here we miss you Josie"

Diana said with a soft warming voice

"Yes we really do Josie and I also apologize if you felt that I ignored you in any way shape or form" Ruby stated

"Me too Josie I really am sorry for everything I did to offend you or cause you pain" Anne added also

"Well I guess I should apologize too for being a bit rude to you guys"

"A bit?"

Ruby said sarcastically as Diana elbowed her indicating for her to shut up

"Ok ok maybe more than just a bit"

Josie said with a giggle at the end making everyone else join into the laughter making the tension in the air evaporate

"Ok ok now can we actually have a sleepover now?"

Tillie said making everyone laugh even more

"Alright let the party begin!"

Jane said as everyone cheered on, and now finally everyone can take a deep breath knowing everything will finally go back to normal
