A few days after we arrived in San Francisco, we're about to make our way back to Amsterdam. Yakushima (the aircraft) is waiting for us to board and prepare her for departure. She's a Boeing 777-300ER and we'll be carrying 203 passengers back to the Netherlands with us. The weather forecast is predicting a clear route over Canada and across the pond. We should arrive on time.

The Flight
Here we are at our gate! We're at Alpha One (A1) and currently getting catering done. Winds are calm and the skies are clear. We should be boarding shortly and cockpit prep is almost done.

With both engines started and the controls checked, we're beginning our taxi. Today's runway, surprisingly, is 10L. Flaps have been set and we should be leaving the ground shortly.
