"Mommy, Mr. Kenny, have you guys found it yet?!" I'm really panicking right now. I've been looking for my tassel for about 15 minutes now. If I don't find it I'm not walking across that stage.
"Nope, when's the last time you saw it?" my mother yelled back
"I really don't know, I'm really about to cry –"as I was turning around I see Monte leaning on my door frame twirling the tassel with his finger.
"Baby where did you find it, I've been looking for it" I gave him a long kiss.
"You left it in my car the other day, but damn, you looking sexy af in this dress" he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me. I can't believe we made it this far with our relationship and now we're about to graduate in a couple of hours. This year has been a roller-coaster but it was worth it.
After the incident Monte mindset has changed a little. He's still dealing but he's more focused on school, so Trey is more in charge now when it comes to the crew, while he's taking care of the trades. My baby plans on going to college to be an entrepreneur of his own shoe company, and if that dosen't work out then he's going to own a couple of local shops and a club, isn't that shocking? So now he's getting all the money he saved up ,and more, to invest in his career.
As for me, I'm attending UCLA in the fall getting my bachelors to be an obstetrician. I been had money saved up and some scholarships so I'm good full time. I'm excited but nervous because it's a new life and I'm taking more responsibility, but I know God is going to be by my side through it all, so no worries. And I pray Monte knows that too.
As for graduation day, I'm wearing is a navy blue spaghetti strap dress with pink flowers and my nude stilettos. And Monte is wearing a navy blue Armani suit, with a cream dress shirt and a light pink tie, with his brown dress shoes; ugh he looks so sexy in it.
