2. {Soft Hands}

Tuesday-

Cheryl-

Another day of school... ugh. After getting dressed, I wore a burgundy shirt with a high wasted black skirt. After the drive to school I walk in right to my locker, I spotted Veronica and Betty walking together with intertwined arms, Veronica spots me and walks over.

"Cheryl! Betty and I are going to go to pops after school. Of course companies by Archie and Jughead. Would you like to join us?" Veronica says with a smile on her face.

"Sounds like a date night for you guys. I don't wanna be a '5th' wheel" rolling my eyes saying 5th.

"Then bring someone" she says hinting something, something I'm not picking up

I furrow my eyebrows confused at her hinting something.

"Okay... well you were invited, so if you would like to come we are going to pops right after school" she says before walking off with Betty

I grab my books and I walk to English. I take a seat and I didn't see the serpent with pink stripes in her hair, maybe she gave up with this school already.

I was getting ahead of myself because as I was think, there she was. She looked adorable today.

What am I saying?

She took the seat next to mine and gave me a little nod, I gave her a fake smile and looked away.

"You know you don't always have to be a b.itch, right?" She whispers to me

I look at her with a disgusted look on my face. I'm not always a b.itch. She just hasn't seen my good side yet. It happens.. sometimes.

"You don't always have to be nosy, right?" I mock her whispering back

"I'm going to be nice... I'm going to pops later, care to join?" She asks trying to forget our differences

"I was already invited by Veronica, and Betty. But I guess you can join along" I say to her, so maybe I did want to invite her in the first place. But that would be asking her on a date. But her tagging along... that's not asking her out..

"Sounds good, Cherry Bombshell" She says leaning back in her chair and smirking forward

I shake my head as she mocks my name.

Why is this girl driving me like this?

After English it was Science. I make my way over to that class and I join Toni, my partner in that class. Veronica and Betty were sitting in front of us, they turned around to talk to us.

"So toni, how you liking this school?" Veronica asks Toni

"It's pretty nice, I definitely like some of the people here" she says smirking

Veronica moves her eyes from Toni to mine and moves her eyebrows up a bit, then moving back to Toni.

"We are all going to pops later if you want to join us?" Veronica says

"Yeah I'll come, sounds fun" she says smiling at her

I didn't have much to say during that conversation, I don't know what Veronica is trying to pull but it's definitely something. But I don't know why I was looking forward to hanging out with her tonight at pops,I know it wasn't just us but I couldn't wait.

"What's your number?" Toni whispered to me

I looked at her and wanted to smile but I kept my cool.

"Wouldn't you like to know" I smirk at her
