Josh follows me upstairs and I walk into my room. He explains to me that they are on tour at the moment, and that I will be meeting a lot of people, as I sit and nod along to everything he says. He seems to be nervous, and rambles a bit, sit I turn my music on from my iPod and he sits on my bed as I put my belongings into a duffel bag. I pack my underwear, socks, two t shirts, other pair of black jeans, poster of Fall Out Boy, earphones and iPod charger. Josh picks up my ukulele case and I carry the duffel bag downstairs, where Tyler is standing.
"You ready to go?" He says as I jump down the last step. I nod my head and follow him out of the door, to where a bus is parked on the drive. Tyler unlocks it and shows me inside. Inside is a normal bus set up, with a back lounge and a spacious bathroom. There are only Tyler, Josh and me sleeping on this bus, and the driver, who sleeps at the venues. Apparently they are touring with Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco, both of which I'll be meeting tomorrow at the show. They show me where I'm going to sleep, and I leave my things in my bunk, grabbing my iPod and EarPods at the same time. Tyler sits me on the couch before I can plug my EarPods in and hands me a ukulele. Josh sits in the back and laughs as I try to show I don't want to play.
"Play. I wanna see how good you are" Tyler says simply and I sigh, giving up on silently segueing with him. I start to play The Judge, and Tyler sings along with me. When I look up at josh, he has phone out and seems to be videoing. At the point I get shy and slow the playing down as it ends. Tyler looks like he wants me to play more, but josh comes to the rescue.
"Dude, are you hungry?" He asks.
"Hell yeah! Well we might stop soon so we can get food then?" Tyler says and at that moment, the bus stops at a McDonald's and I follow both boys out where I see two other tour buses. I guess that they are the other bands, and that I'll be meeting them tonight instead of in the morning. Well, here goes nothing.
