I stand there, once he's run out of water, dripping wet.
Patrick ushers me inside through the patio doors, and immediately follows with a full apology. "I'm so sorry!! I didn't even realise that you were here until I heard Joe cackling evilly. He's so dead when he gets back!" Patrick gushes. I smile weakly. I was out there for nearly an hour, and it's already gone dinner but it's alright, because I'm in an amazing house, with amazing people, my idols even, and I can see the funny side of what he did.
That is until Patrick speaks again. "Uh oh! Is this all the luggage you brought?" I look down at what used to be my clean and dry bag that I had dropped on the floor. Then I look to my other side, where my small wooden ukulele sits in its case. A fabric case. That little shit. Joe may be an amazing guitarist, and my hero, but he fucking ruined that. It was a small gift from Tyler last week, at the end of tour, and it's identical to the one he owns. The water will have soaked into it by now, and it's practically useless. Patrick picks it up and shakes his head. "No no no. This can't do. I'll put this in my music room, and see what I can do to it, and you, go up to the top floor. That's Peres room, he's the only other one home, he'll give you clothes etcetera, toodles" he says, muttering to himself as he walks down a set of stairs.
I sigh, pick up my still wet bag and start up the stairs to my right. It was really a stupid day to wear white, wasn't it? My white top has become see through, and my black bra is now completely visible. I finally reach the top stairs and knock on the door, before opening it and walking right in.
