Before it all started (part 2)

Jeremy's Point of view

My heart beats fast.
I call myself down as I try to sink in that i am now safe.
The principal almost saw me.
The principal hates it when students do not wear their I.D.
I try to check the hallway to see if she's still there.
I slowly peak outside the door. My eyes satisfied with my sight. Thankfully the principal went back to her office and Emmanuel waiting for me. Finally we can go.

I walk towards Emmanuel. "Shall we go?" I say imitating his voice.
"Oh shut up" he says while rolling his eyes at me.
"You should go, i still have work to do" Emmanuel added.
"Well, see ya tomorrow then"

Chosen's Point Of view

"Charles, should I proceed with thy endeavor?" I asked sincerely. Hopefully he has a better answer this time.

"What? Why are you talking like that? "Charles asked me with eyes full of curiosity. Does he really not know? Or is he messing with me? Maybe he forgot about my plan.

"Do not mind that, should I or should I not ask her before the prom comes?" I asked Charles. "No, ask her during the prom" Charles replied.

And with that, my nervousness increased. What if she will reject me on the day? Considering that I have no idea if she likes me or not. 

After the little conversation I had with Charles, I saw Alecs looking right at us. Wait, Does she know? Did she hear us talk about my plan? How long was she standing there, was she eavesdropping on us? The thought frightened me.

           

"Charles, shall we go?" Alecs said calmly "What were you guys talking about?" She asked. "Is it the prom?" she added.

Great, she is asking , that means she does not know. She does not have to. I mean, she is a close friend to Chauncey, and I do not want her to tell Chauncey about my plan.

I left the couple to their own little world and went back to my classroom and saw no other than Emmanuel.

"What has gotten into you?" I asked. Why was he cleaning the classroom? Not to be rude but, He NEVER cleans the classroom. The broom slides swiftly through the floor sweeping off the dirt, chairs moved to different places just so the arrangement would be perfect.

Since I never got a response, I grabbed my stuff and went home.
