They said, "Oh child, little one, how does your day go?

Come with me, and you'll be, in the dream world across the road."

My answer was laughter soft as I closed my eyes

"You're too late, I'm sorry, this little one's already gone!"

Obeying as I was, with the pumpkins in full bloom

Never a chance to pause with restful sleep to foresee

A shadow asked me offering his hand

"Do you understand?"

They said, "Oh child, little one, how does our garden grow?

Come with me, and you'll be, the seventh flower in a row"

My answer a laughter soft as I closed my eyes

"You're too late, I'm sorry, this little one's already gone"

Scattering beauty down the road without an end

Left on the battleground for one they called their flower

Maybe they loved me as they took me by the hand

I tried to understand.

I said, "Oh Mary, contrary how does your garden grow?

Stay with me, I can't see anywhere that we could go"

Their answer was laughter as darkness swallowed them up

"One more time, I'll be fine, sometimes kindness is enough"

"Oh Mary, contrary how does your garden grow?

Don't leave me, please don't be go to dream world across the road."

My answer a whisper soft as he lowered his head

"Set them free, I'm sorry, this flower's already dead"

This is a Parody of Secret Garden.

I love that song, so I tweaked it. Originally this was for a choir project, but some problems happened and I wasn't able to do this one.
