"Okay class, we have a new student! Please welcome yourself." A tall boy with black hair turns to the front of the class, his giant glasses interfere with his face.
"Hello, I'm Park Chanyeol, It's nice to meet you all," Chanyeol gives a dimply smile and some of the class look at him while Sehun, as well as his friends, scoff at Chanyeol. The tall boy takes his seat in front of Sehun, the younger looks at Chanyeol as if he is a piece of meat and Sehun's the predator.
"Someone likes the nerdy boy," Kris teases.
"Dude, I hate nerds," Sehun laughs.
"You kept eyeballing him," Kris lifts his eyebrows.
"Just making sure he's in good condition," Sehun smirks.
"Sehun, would you like to announce something to the class?" The teacher as well as all the other students watching him.
"No," Sehun drops his head and goes back to his assignment. While the students are working on their work, the bell for the second period goes off. Sehun packs all his things and meets up with Baekhyun.
"Hey, hyung."
"Sehun, did you hear?" Baekhyun asks.
"Hear what?" Sehun wonders.
"The new kid," Baekhyun answers.
"Oh yeah, I met him earlier," Sehun tells the older.
"Wow, what's he like?" Baekhyun asks and Sehun recalls back to what Chanyeol looks like.
"Well he's tall probably taller then me, he's got these huge nerdy glasses that probably take up half his face," Sehun explains.
"What's his personality?" Baekhyun asks.
"Well I didn't really exactly talk to him," Sehun rubs the back of his neck. There's a quick pause between the two.
"You what?! Sehun, you are supposed to tell me about new people!" Baekhyun raises his voice.
"He's a nerd, you think I want to talk to a nerd?" Sehun asks and Baekhyun looks done already.
"I can care less if he's a nerd, he's a new student, please be respectful," Baekhyun practically slaps Sehun in the face with his words. Sehun's totally confused, Baekhyun being the most popular guy in the school wants to talk to a nerd.
"Baekhyun, are you okay?" Sehun asks and looks at Baekhyun as if he got another eye.
"What do you mean?" Baekhyun asks.
"You're not usually like this, did the teachers say that you were too harsh on the new kids?" Sehun questions but Baekhyun is just lost.
"What are you talking about?" Baekhyun asks.
"You don't really ask questions about new kids," Sehun answers.
"I ask about new students every time we have them, probably because they're all in your class coincidentally," Baekhyun explains.
"Yeah well," Sehun tried to think of more words to say but his thinking process is cut off by the bell. He waves bye to Baekhyun and leaves for class, on his way, he sees Chanyeol grabbing one of many of his superhero binders and heading to class. Sehun scoffs at the other and continues walking. When he arrives, the classroom is already half way full, everybody's talking in their groups or klicks. Sehun notices his friends sitting in the front row, Minseok put his arm up and signals Sehun to sit with them.
"Hey, hyungs," Sehun greets as he pulls up a chair.
"How are you, Sehunnie?" Yixing asks with a smile forming on his lips.
"Doing pretty well," Sehun answers and relaxes. "But hey, have you guys seen the new kid?"
"New kid?" Junmyeon asks and shakes his head. "Oh no, no, no, no, Sehun you are not traumatizing a child in the morning."
"What? Eomma!" Sehun's expression saddens. "That's not fair!"
"Do you get enough entertainment bullying EVERY OTHER NERD?" Junmyeon and Sehun begin bickering, which isn't new. Yixing and Minseok ignore them and carry on their conversation.
"Okay, class quiet down!" The teacher hits the desk with a ruler which startles everyone in the classroom, the students turn their attention to the front and watch the teacher teach. Some students fall asleep, some have a look on their faces that they want to die or like Sehun, not giving a shit. But of course, most of the students are like Sehun. Sehun lets out a bored yawn as he watches the bored, he feels his eyes drooping and the boy dozes off. The bell ring startles Sehun as he shoots up out of his chair and he leaves. Sehun has one more class before lunch and he can't wait.
~One class later~
The bell rings for lunch and Sehun bolts out of class but stops as he sees Baekhyun talking with Chanyeol, the two are both laughing and smiling. Baekhyun waves goodbye to Chanyeol and meets up with Sehun.
"Why were you talking to a nerd?" Sehun wonders.
"It's his first day might as well be nice to him," Baekhyun shrugs and Sehun just looks at the older confused. "Don't look so surprised."
"Mr.Popular, Byun Baekhyun, talking to a pathetic nerd, shocker," Sehun teases but Baekhyun really isn't amused.
"You never know what nerds are capable of," That's the last thing Baekhyun says before he walks off. Sehun just watches the older walk off and has to ponder the words Baekhyun said a minute ago.
