I Need You

Chapter 7

Hey Vikky! The text made me smile. Wait, why did it make me smile? Is it possible that- I shook the thought out of my head and began to reply.
Hey Lachy! I answered with a sigh. I sat up and put my phone beside me and rubbed my eyes God I'm so tired, I thought to myself as my phone vibrated again.
Lachlan Power- Are you at the same hotel as Mitch?
Me- Yes, why?
Lachlan Power- Oh just wondering haha. I'm staying there as well. I just pulled up.
Me- Oh I'll be right down to see ya.
Lachlan- alright
I clicked my phone off and walked to the bathroom and fixed my semi messed up hair. There that looks good
I picked up my keycard and and walked out of my room.

When I arrived down to the lobby at the desk I saw Lachlan who seemed to be rather upset with the desk clerk."What do you mean it's not showing up, I have the confirmation email right here."Lachlan said rather agitated. " I'm sorry sir it shows that you never made the reservation" The clerk spoke as if she was about to get yelled at.
" Well, is there any rooms that I could potentially  get?" Lachlan spoke calmly "Um.. let me check" The clerk said typing away at the computer.
I walked up to Lachlan and tapped him on the shoulder and he whipped around, "Vik!!" He half screamed and pulled me into a bear hug " Hi Lachy" I huffed while the life was being squeezed  out of me "Mind of I...breathe now" I added " Oh yeah" Lachlan said slightly blushing "Um I'm sorry sir but there aren't any rooms available right now.." The clerk said.  Lachlan's face began to sadden " Ah, well  I guess that's fine, I'll  book a room somewhere else" His voice full of disappointment turning towards me "I'll see ya later Vikk, gotta go find a hotel" He said as he smiled a slight smile and began to walk off "Lachlan, wait" I called out to him and he turned around, "Why not share my room? I got 2 beds and I only need one" I offered " Really? Vik, I uh don't know what to say" He blushed "A yes would work" I laughed " Alright fine, if it's fine with you" "Oh course it's fine with me or I wouldn't have suggested it" I finished with a smile. "Haha ok, let's go then" He said in a happy ton, We then walked up to my room. Upon entering Lachlan walked over to the spare bed and sat down "Jeez I'm tired" He said rubbing his neck giving a slight sigh and I nodded in agreement, sitting on my bed.

There was a long silence before Lachlan spoke" Hey, um do you care if I shower? I've been on that plane  for ages." He asked "Nah go for it" I replied" Thanks " He reached into his bag a pulled out some clothes and bathroom supplies and went in closing the door behind him. I sat there on my bed thinking about How good itll be to see everyone and also what awaited me after I got home.

He'll  be there, so will that lonely feeling. You'll fall back into the same pattern you had before you left. You'll be alone, ignored unloved. You'll be lied to, nobody will want to be around you. You're useless, and unloved, and that's the way it'll always be.

The voice spoke and I began to cry remebering that's the truth, then The bathroom  door opened and out came a wet haired Lachlan staring at me with pure concern in his baby blue eyes.
