The sound of faint a beep echoed through the room as I began opening my eyes. Where am I? I look around and slowly take in my surroundings. The room is dim and there's a TV mounted on the wall. I look to my right and I noticed the heart monitor amongst a bunch of other hospital machines. Wait, am I in the hospital? I look down and noticed the paper gown covered in blue polka dots and sigh I guess I am. I feel movement on my left and look over to see a guy with his face on the bed with his cheek smooshed under the weight of his head. Could that be Lachlan? It must be. I didn't wanna wake him so I sat there quietly recounting the events that had happened. Ok so I woke up from a nightmare. Then I went to the bathroom and threw up. Then, I uh...I don't remember..
A couple hours went by and I was still trying to add up what had happened, when Lachlan jerked up and shock was displayed all over his face before it went into a warm smile. "Vikk you're awake" His voice was filled with relief. "Um, what happened?" I questioned "You passed out and I called an ambulance cause you were unresponsive. I've been here with you every minute". He explained "Oh" was the only thing I could muster, I sat there silent for a brief moment before Lachlan asked" Why aren't you eating?" I looked over at him and I bursted into tears. " I-I" I tried to speak while crying but only sounds came out and Lachlan pulled me into a hug, holding me tightly "Whatever the reason , I'm sorry you feel that way..I don't wanna lose you, You're my best friend, and I'd be so lost without you." He whispered
He held me tightly reminding me what it was like to be held by someone and all I could do was continue crying until he walked in.
