33 weeks

   Liv is now 33 weeks pregnant and measuring 40 weeks along. Lizzie and Dickie are still mad that they don't get to go to daycare. Jesse is asleep on Amanda's lap. Amanda is still alive but only has about a couple weeks left to live. Liv really wants the baby to come so Amanda can spend time with the baby. They also decided to not know the gender until the baby is born. Liv goes for her checkup and is having lots of pain. The doctor says,"It looks like you are in labor. You are 4cm dilated so we will get you settled into your room and you should call your husband because after we hit 6cm it goes fast."

   "Did you hear that Amanda? The baby will be here today. Lizzie and Dickie I know you are mad at me but you'll get to meet your baby brother or sister. I have to call your dad and have him come," Liv says.

   Liv calls El who answers and says,"Hey love. How did your appointment go? Me and Eli are very excited to hear how it went."

   "I'm in labor, so you and Eli need to get down here. Oh and get the girls too," Liv says excitedly.

   "Okay, love. We are on our way. How far are you dilated?" El asks as he gets Eli in the car.

   "I'm 4 cm dilated. Oh and can you grab our bag from the house? It's right inside the door," Liv asks as she gets a contraction.

   "Sure thing, love. I'm going to hang up and call Kathleen and Maureen," El says as he gets in the car.

   "Okay El. I love you," Liv says breathing heavily.

   "I love you too," El says and then hangs up.

   El group texts the girls and says' I'm coming to get you from school. Liv is in labor.'

   Maureen and Kathleen respond ' Okay, I'm ready when you get here.'

   Since the house is on the way to the school and hospital El stops at the house first and gets the bag quickly. El gets back in the car and drives to the school. He carries Eli inside to the office and says,"I'm here to pick up Maureen and Kathleen Stabler. I'm their father."

   "Just sign them out here," The office lady says as she calls them up over the speakers.

   El signs them out and looks up to see them running towards him. "Hey girls are you ready to go?"

   "Yes, dad," they say excitedly.

   "May I ask what's so exciting?" The lady ask.

   "Our mom is at the hospital in labor. We are going so we can be there for the birth of our little sister or brother," Maureen says.

   "Well tell her I said congratulations," The lady says.

   "I will," Kathleen says.

   They all get in the car and head for the hospital. They get there and El grabs the bag while Maureen gets Eli out because Eli wants Maureen. They all go inside and up to the delivery floor. They go to the nursing station and El says,"Olivia Stabler. She is my wife."

   "Room 302."

   They walk in her room and Liv says,"The nurse just left. I am now 6cm dilated. She asked if I wanted epidural and I told her no. I want this to be natural."

   "Kathy didn't do an epidural for Eli and she said it was the fastest labor she ever had," Maureen says.

   "Oh mom. The lady at the front desk told me to tell you congratulations," Kathleen says. 

   Liv is shocked that Maureen said Kathy's real name and that Kathleen just said mom. "I'm so glad we are all here together for this. So who wants to stay in here when it is time?" Liv asks.

   Maureen says,"I do."

   "Alright so I guess Kathleen can watch Lizzie, Dickie, Jesse, and Eli in the waiting room. Does that sound good?" Liv asks.

   Everyone nods and Liv has a really painful contraction. 30 minutes later Liv is fully dilated so Kathleen takes Lizzie, Dickie, Jesse, and Eli to the waiting room. Amanda sits in a chair next to Liv, El is on Liv's other side holding her hand, and the doctor agrees to let Maureen help deliver the baby since she wants to be an OBGYN when she is older. It takes 3 big bushes from Liv and her squeezing El's hand till it almost breaks till the baby comes out. El cuts the cord and Maureen carries the baby over to Liv and says,"It's a baby girl."

   Liv takes the baby and says,"We have a baby girl, El. What do you think we should name her?"

   "I don't know love, but we don't have to have one right now," El says and a nurse takes their baby to get checked out.

   "Maureen, can you go tell them out in the waiting room for us?" Liv asks.

   "Sure, mom," Maureen says.

   As soon as Maureen leaves the room Liv says,"Amanda I would like to name her after you. If that is okay with you."

   Kathleen was just about to knock when she hears Amanda say,"Of course, Liv. I mean I won't be having anymore kids so why not?" 

   Kathleen hands Maureen money and says,"Maureen take them to get something to eat. I'll be down soon."

   Maureen takes the money and nods. Kathleen opens the door and walks over to Liv, her dad, and Amanda. Kathleen says,"Aunt Amanda I heard you say you won't be having anymore kids. Why is that?"

   "I didn't want you, your siblings, or my Jesse to know but I have stage 4 liver cancer. It was found to late to treat and well according to my doctor I should be dying with in the next few days," Amanda says not looking at Kathleen.

   "I won't tell the younger ones or Jesse but I will have to tell Maureen. This way we can help mom with you, Dickie, Lizzie, Jesse, Eli, and the baby. And so we can spend time with you before you die," Kathleen says.

   "Okay, you can tell Maureen but that is it," Amanda says.

   "Now I told Maureen that I would meet them in the cafeteria to bring them up," Kathleen says.

   Kathleen goes down to the cafeteria and over to Maureen and the kids. Maureen says,"Can we go see them now?"

   "Yes, we can," Kathleen says. 

   They all start walking to the elevator and Kathleen grabs Maureen's arm so they are far enough behind the kids where they can see them but the kids can't hear them. "Maureen there is something I have to tell you," Kathleen says.

   "What is it?" Maureen asks as they keep the kids in their sight.

   "I just found out before I came down and got you that Aunt Amanda has stage 4 liver cancer. She had made mom promise not to tell anyone but dad and Cragen. When I found out I told her that I would have to tell you but I wouldn't tell the younger ones. She doesn't want them to know. I figured we could take time off school and help because she only has a few days left," Kathleen says. 

   "I'll take it off. I don't care what my teachers say. I'll go and get our work every week and we can do it when dad is home. We will help out mom. We'll take turns getting up in the middle of the night so mom doesn't have to. We can do this," Maureen says.

   "I feel like we're growing up so fast," Kathleen says. 

   "Because we are little sis," Maureen says as they catch up to the younger ones.

   Once they get to the room, Maureen says,"Me and Kathleen decided to take time off school to help you. It is not up for debate and I'll get our homework from school every week."

   "Well, okay then," Liv says.

   The nurse brings in the baby and everybody takes turns holding her and taking pictures of her. "So what is her name going to be?" Lizzie asks.

   "We are naming her after Amanda," Liv says.

A/N: So I never knew Amanda's middle name so I need a middle name that sounds good with Amanda. Give me some ideas please.
