------Ciel's POV------

Only about a week has passed since the Viscount case and ever since, ______ has not spoken one word. I knew that she was the kind of person who doesn't like to get in other peoples' ways. She is usually a very shy girl and strives to help make this manor a better place. But I do not find it like her to not speak for a whole week.

Ever since the night of the ball, ______ has been avoiding me and Sebastian as much as possible. She no longer has Sebastian wake her up in the morning. Instead, she uses the small alarm clock(1) she spent her savings on and bought.

I have been observing her these past few days and here's what I have come up with as her schedule :

1) She wakes up in the morning, preparing breakfast for the servants who have yet to wake, without speaking.

2) After she completes breakfast, she keeps it warm in the oven as she hears Sebastian wake up the other servants. And I have noticed her not eat any of the  breakfast she prepares. Therefore, leaves a note on the kitchen door that breakfast is in the oven, without speaking one word.

3) She completely separates herself from all the other people in the manor (including myself) as she goes on about her daily chores even when it's lunchtime and Sebastian announces throughout the house. She locks herself in the library until lunch is over. Also, failing to eat or speak.

4) She cleans the manor by herself until everyone has gone to bed. Then she makes herself some dinner and cleans it all up by herself.

5) She ends the day by heading to bed and not speaking a word to anyone.

After the third day of ______ not talking, the rest of the servants started to get the point of trying to cheer her up was useless.

Even some days when I tell her that she has the day off, she will grab a book from the library, make herself a cup of tea, and head out to the garden where she sits at a table and chair and reads all day until it is time to retire.

------Time Skip------

"Good morning, young master. Today we have poached eggs, and some ham and a choice of sides between toast or scones. I have also come to terms with the fact that none of your work has been getting done lately......care to explain?" Sebastian asked.

Ever since the incident at the ball where he 'cheated' on ______, he has been more stoic. As if the wall she had broken down was quickly rebuilt. And to add on top of it is the guilt because this was his fault in the first place. For dancing with someone he had just met and not even thinking about the consequences.

"Actually yes, Sebastian. I'll have scones. And I have noticed the difference in yours and ______'s behavior, care to explain?"

"My  lord, it seems as if I have upset ______ and I hate myself because of it. I do care for her a lot, my lord and I have been trying to get ______ to talk to me but that has deemed itself as a worthless cause." Sebastian turned to me and began speaking again. "I was going to ask a favor of my young master if it isn't too much trouble."

"Sebastian, before I agree to any proposition you may have, I just want to be clear that you know this was your own doing. And has nothing to do with me." I smirked.

I looked up from the paper he had brought in and matched my eyes to his. I saw all the sadness he was holding back so I decided to give him some of my pity.

"Of course young master, I understand that fully"

"Then let's hear this proposition of yours" I smirked as we left the room and headed to the dining hall.

"I was thinking if the young master could-"

------Your POV------

Today was a beautiful day to be outside. Unfortunately, you were stuck inside cleaning the damned manor. You walked into the drawing room at precisely 10:00. You went to work in hopes of having extra time at the end when you were done to go outside.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

You were so startled by the sudden rapping on the door, you dropped the duster you had in your hand. You didn't give a response because you suspected the person knocking already knew you were in there so you just let it go.

The door opened, revealing a short, bluenette boy who walked into the room.

"______, I have something to discuss with you. If you would please come to my study at 10:15. Then we shall talk then and there." Ciel looked at you, awaiting a response but you just looked at him. His soft gaze quickly left and was replaced by one of annoyance.

"______! I am your master! You may not ignore your master when he is speaking to you! Is. That. Clear?"

You looked at him, eyes widening. You had quickly become scared of him. He had lost his temper so unbearably fast and you were afraid he would throw you out of the manor or something if you didn't reply.

"O-Of c-co-course yo-young mast-ter!" You cowered at him as he looked at you. He just 'humphed' and left the room.

10:15 rolled around relatively quickly so you made your way to the study. You knocked on the door until you heard a faint 'Come in'.

"Y-young master, y-you wanted t-to speak w-w-with me?" You said quietly as you poked your head in the doorway.

"Yes, as a matter of fact it is regarding your relationship with Sebastian. You still love him. Correct?"

"No, I hate his guts. he betrayed me for some woman he had just met at that stupid ball!" You began, tears stinging your eyes.

"Yes, I know he did. I understand your frustration. But Sebastian came to me earlier practically in tears because he thinks he's lost you forever. He was going on and on and on about how he hated himself and how he doesn't deserve a beautiful girl such as yourself. Quite frankly, it was exceptionally annoying,"

You looked at him astonished. Sebastian had actually said and meant all that? The stoic, strict Sebastian you knew was in tears just earlier this morning?

"H-he said a-all that?" You looked at Ciel as he nodded. Under your breath, you said "All those times he has come to me to apologize and I had just ignored him and brushed him away......"

You looked wide-eyed at your young master and tears started streaming down your face.

"May I-" You began but was interrupted by Ciel.

"You and I both know what you need to do, now go!" Ciel smiled as you grinned a teary grin and ran out the door.

You searched all over the goddamn manor before you finally found Sebastian in the kitchen preparing the young master's lunch.

"______ what are you-" He turned around when he heard you burst through the door. And you cut him off by engrossing him in a great big hug. He of course just stood there not really knowing what to do.

Slowly, but surely did he bring up his hands to your back and returning the hug, noticed the tears -of joy- in your eyes, he took his gloved hands and set them against your cheeks as he wiped away the tears with his thumbs.

"I'm so....sorry for.....not listening to......you....I LOVE YOU!!" You started to bawl right then and there. He picked you up and set you on the counter so your head was level to his chest. He squatted down and whispered into your ear,

'I have and always will love you...'

A/N:

(1) Yes, alarm clocks were invented in this time, in fact, they were made very quick and cheap starting in the 1840's

WooH! Two chapters in one day!! I call that a win! By the time you read this, I will have already started on the next chapter ( maybe even done with it based on when you read it) I'm thinking of maybe incorporating the black butler events out of order. I have already done the Human-trafficing thing but I think the next chapter will be Ciel and You getting captured by Vanel....the Italian guy. Idk and then maybe making some houndsworth chapters but I'm not sure.....What do you guys think??????
