✨Chapter Three:Stronger✨

                 "What are you doing?" Anna asks as I fix my hair.

Going to the movies was something I hadn't planned for this Friday night. But my "great" friends decided I need to live a little. So they also are trying to take me to a party.

"A movie. Then a party." I tell her and she starts to laugh.

"This is not the Mac I know." She responds shaking her head.

Rolling my eyes, I look back at my mirror in front of me.

"Well have fun. Me and Luke are going to hang out." She says walking out the door.

"I hope you have fun and Don't think about doing anything!" I yell and she laughs loudly.

Smiling, I grab my phone and my sweatshirt.

After school ended, we left the tree house and went home. I had spent hours reading her letter over and over again.

It just didn't make sense though. 

Before she died, I had gotten my own separate letter. That night she knew the guys were gonna take me to a party and a movie. We used to do it every month  before she died.

Don't you think that the day I made you hang out with my brother when I had to take my first dance class, that he looked at you differently then before. He had once told me that he was glad we were friends. I was too. But a different way.

Bray would always laugh when I told him stories about what happened in our classes. On our first day of 6th grade, he had to punch Alexander because he looked at your butt. His words not mine.

What I'm trying to say is: he feels the same. Go for it, Babe. If you don't, when I'm gone, no one is gonna be there to tell him that your the one for him. Now I know your gonna hate me for saying this....

Justin was my first kiss. He told me that you wouldn't care. I hope you don't.

I had asked him to be my first kiss before I died. I hope that when you get older, you will name one of your kids after me. What am I saying? I know you will. Your too sweet. Your my little piece of eye candy. Lol.

I love you so much, Macie. Don't let Andrew or Justin tell you that your an annoying little piece of crap. Because you aren't. Your amazing and beautiful. Have fun tonight at the movies. I know  they will drag you to a party as well. So let louse and have fun. And tell Anna I love her too...❤️

"Macie! Hurry up!" I hear Jasmine yell from downstairs.

"Coming!" I yell grabbing my bad and running down stairs.

"Hey gu-Why is he here?" I question pointing to Brayden as I reach the end of the stairs.

"He wouldn't leave us alone till we said yes." Alexis grumbles while fixing her hat.

"Hey, in my defense I asked nicely like 6 times." He retorts back at her.

"Whatever. Let's just get to the movie." I reply opening the door and stepping onto the porch.

"OH MY GOSH! Who's car is that?" I yell pointing to the very new mustang in front of my house.

"Oh that's mine..." Justin says as he clicks his car keys.

"Really?" I asks still gaping at that awesome car.

"No, it's Alexander's actually. He's letting us use it for the movies since he is having James drop him off." Alexis says grabbing the keys from Justin.

"I'm driving. I don't trust you kids with this $3,000,000 car." She tells us as she unlocks the car.

"Who is this rich?.." I grumble walking to the car.

"I am." Brayden says hopping in.

"Huh? How do I not know this?" I ask as we squish into the back.

"Because...It was my moms money from her side before she died." He says quietly.

I had forgot about that.

Brayden's mom, Tessa Stone, died of Cancer a few years before they learned Kyla had it. I guess it ran in their family. Anyways, his dad, Cole Stone, was always a suck up to Tessa's parents. Her dad was a mayor and her mom, I don't even know.

They were like second parents to me. I know a lot about them and their family's. Brayden's uncle, Jay Stone, was married to Alexis Mom...Wait Brayden and Alexis are cousins?!

My eyes widen and I gape at them.

Brayden has told me before that he and Kyla rarely ever saw them since they lived in England. But Alexis and Alex lived with their grandparents for a while when her parents went to England for their new jobs.

"What?" Brayden asks raising an eyebrow.

"You and Alexis are Cousins." I tell him as Alexis turns around and looks at me. 

"And how would that be?" Brayden asks looking at us both.

"Her mom, Jaylynn, is married to your Uncle Jay. You say you don't see your uncle and aunt much because they live in England. Her parents moved to England when she was younger for their jobs. They come back at the end of every month and holidays. She lives with her grandma and grandpa." I tell them and Brayden takes his phone out and Calls his uncle.

"I know I recognized you from somewhere.." He whispers. Once the phone starts ringing he puts it onto speaker .

"Hi, Uncle Jay. I have a question for you. Do you have have two kids, Alexis and Alexander?" He says into the phone.

"Yeah, why? You've met them before, Brayden. Remember?" 

"No..I don't remember...Wait Christmas last year?"

"You have forgotten because ever since Kyla died, you haven't been in the moment like you used to. Everyone is worried Brayden."

"Well don't be! I'm fine, I'll see you guys next week for my dads birthday."

"Okay Brayden. Please just don't do anything stupid like your dad would. And tell Macie and my kids I say Hi."

"Hi dad!" Me and Alexis both yell.

"Hi girls miss you." He finishes.

"Goodbye Uncle Jay." Brayden says ending the call as we pull up.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks Alexis.

"You should have known, Bray." She mutters getting out of the car once it starts.

"What a day..." I grumble getting out as well.
