A moment before her death
Her sad eyes twinkled bright
I wish I could save that light
Next moment, she was gone
Leaving me all alone
Could I believe she was dead
'NO', yelled a voice in my head
She just couldn't have died
The doctors must have lied
I kept yelling "Come back!"
Then everything went black
....................................................
I woke up in a hospital bed
Wishing I were just dead
I wished I could end this pain
I wanted to touch her again
....................................................
I slowly grabbed a knife
I did not want my life
But before I had even bled
Her voice echoed in my head
She told me I had to wait
To have faith in my fate
For, we will rejoice one day
Together forever shall we stay
......................................................
I still recall her in my brain
I can see her in sun and rain
She can see through my eyes
And listen through my ears
She can be seen in my tears
And helps me fight my fears
She listens daily when I pray
That we may rejoice one day
And together forever we stay
(Amin)
