"Um, about that," my eyes shifted over towards Razel, not feeling like actually looking at her. "You're... Not really allowed to have your own room right now, remember? The whole jumping through the window and scaring kids and adults alike thing?"

Without responding, I stood on the bench, stepping up and quickly over to the other side. Exiting through the small door, I sharply shut it on the two before choosing a random direction and running off. Yeah, childish, but apparently that's what everyone was thinking of me as anyways, so why not fulfill their wishes?

Of course, I didn't really get far before they caught up and followed behind me. I was thankful that they were just letting me go wherever rather than trying to reel me in and constrict my movements. I really needed to just... Move. Get away. Run?

Yeah, I needed freedom. I needed out. The walls were constricting me and I was starting to stress out from the never-ending hallways. Turning quickly to face my two jailers, "I-I need to get out. I need to breathe."

I could feel a cold sweat starting to appear, stress narrowing my vision as I sank down onto my hands and knees. I felt some hands on me, drawing me into a calming hug, and I sank into it, my racing heart slowing a little with the contact.

"It's okay to shift if you need to. You're safe," I heard the girl whisper to me. "We'll bring you outside, just calm down."

"You're okay, just sink into it, you'll feel better if you do," the boy. I felt him gently running his fingers through my hair.

I was confused, but felt safe. An ache built in my body, the feeling increasing until it stretched and a feeling like a release of some kind ran through my body; like stretching out and feeling a pop that just relaxes your whole body. Thinking that, I stretched, yawning tiredly before curling up into something warm.

"-so cute!"

"Shh, you'll wake him."

I felt movement, then a rocking motion, "Like an overgrown pup."

"Not that much bigger than one of our pups, though, " a giggle issued in response.

"And look at that fur. White underbelly, legs and most of his tail. Cute! Light blond on top- awww, and look at the tips of those ears!" I moved away from whatever annoyed my ear.

"Yeah, yeah. Now, stop touching him or he'll wake up before we get outside," I enjoyed the beat and vibration now with my head against the warmth.

"I can't wait to see what they all think about him!"

"Yeah, yeah. Just get the door for me, will you?" Vibrations again, then wind and light and warmth. I huffed, relaxing muscles I didn't realize I had tightened from stress as my mind pictured 'openness', calming and releasing the stress in my limbs.

Rocking and light creaking sifted through to me as I huffed out a contented sigh, the smells of nature breezing past me. I wasn't sure how long I relaxed and snoozed until reality came back with the feel of multiple people around me, whispering.

"Awwww."

"Who is he?"

"So cute, sleeping on you like that."

"How old and whose is he? I don't recognize him; new family?"

I covered my head with my hand... But it didn't feel like my hand. I frowned, rubbing my face with it, trying to figure out the difference as more cooing reached my ears. I cracked open an eye, feeling small and enclosed by the group of taller people surrounding me. I heard a whimper, surprised to realize it was... Me?! I was making that noise?
