Chapter 9: Secret Room

CHARLIE'S HOUSE

"So you were sent here by Hogwarts?" Charlie asked, "I should just be speaking English then." Lupin was confused by this comment, "Wait what? You weren't speaking English before?" Lupin asked, "TARDIS translation circuit, translates every language whatever language it may be." The Doctor whispered, "Best to keep it a secret."

Lupin nodded, when Charlie heard this he shrugged, "So why did Hogwarts send you here?","Apparently there's something wrong here, we've got to find out why." The Doctor, "Have you sent the dragons over?" Lupin asked and Charlie nodded at this.

"The dragons should arrive tomorrow." Charlie said, "Are you sure that they'll arrive?" The Doctor asked, "Yeah, I trust my friends and their abilities."

The Doctor walked around the room seeing what Charlie has in his house, "So this new breed of dragons, what are they called?" The Doctor asked, "Si- Sihurian? Si- I don't quite remember it's not the easiest to remember."

Something in the Doctor's head clicked, "Silurians!" The Doctor shouted, "That's why the TARDIS brought me here!" He continued, "What are you talking about? What's a TARDIS?"

"But they can't be breeding Silurians with dragons, that's just messed up!" The Doctor said, "Well, maybe the Silurians just want a breeding planet." The Doctor muttered, he instantly ran out of Charlie's house

TARDIS

He quickly ran into the TARDIS, Lupin just about following behind, "TARDIS scan for any alien lifeform!" The Doctor pulled up the TARDIS monitor, circular Gallifreyan popped up, "I'm right there's about three different alien lifeforms." The Doctor stroked his hair, "The closest one is the Silurian,"

At that moment the pain before came thundering in to his body again, "Argh! I can't pass out now! We wouldn't have enough time!" The Doctor shouted, "John are you OK?" Lupin held up the Doctor so he didn't fall down, "Yeah I just need help."
"Say what you need me to do!" Lupin said, "I need you to get into my head, help me fix whatever problem there-, UGH!" The Doctor felt another wave of pain, "But I can't do legilimancy!" Lupin said, "No need! Allow me to touch your head!" The Doctor said as he puts his hands up, Lupin nodded.

THE DOCTOR'S MIND

When Lupin entered the Doctor's head, he shared just a tidbit of the pain that the Doctor is experiencing. His mind was interperted as a library in Lupin's head.
He landed and saw another person in his head, but it was the Doctor in his brown suit this time, light brown overcoat, and cream converse.

"John?"

"Oh! Who are you? I suppose my real self sent someone to help." The Doctor said, Lupin was very confused, how did John Smith no recognize him? , "Remus Lupin. What do you need me to do." Lupin said.

The Doctor turned his head towards the wall, "There's something trying to break in, like zombies." The Doctor said, "Zom- what? You're just saying words."It's what humans say people who get infected and eat brains." The Doctor said, "You mean, muggles...?" Lupin gets even more confused.

"No, humans. Mind helping me with this? Sorry if I can't remember you Lupin. When my real self is conscious, I, the mind self can't know what's happening." The Doctor lead Lupin through the hallways and out into what looks like the void, a sort of nowhere place in the Doctor's mind.

"See those things? That's what I just called zombies, except they're not actually zombies. They're more like what time distortions look like." The Doctor pointed his hand at some creatures that looks distorted and twitchy, it looks like they are what humans look like when they're burnt.

"Now I need you're help to get rid of these things out of my head. You do have a wand right?" The Doctor said, "Yeah, I do. Wait, don't you have one too?" Lupin asked looking at the Doctor, "Yes, well... No, well... In real life I do but in my head I don't it's still not an important part of my life, the wand." The Doctor snorted.

"Anyways," The Doctor walked nearer to the distorted creatures, "Can you get rid of these things? After that you can get back to the real world." Lupin nodded.

"Just shoot them with spells." The Doctor said, Lupin grabbed his wand,

"STUPEFY!"

"BOMBARDA!"

Different colored spells came out from the tip of Lupin's wand, all the creatures eventually dissipated, "Thanks! I'll send you back out."

REAL WORLD

Lupin woke up, "Thankyou..." The Doctor said as he stood back up, breathing heavily, "Let's go to the sanctuary, wait we need Charlie to be here." The Doctor said, "I'll get him, be right back." Lupin said as he goes out of the TARDIS.

Charlie was actually standing right outside the TARDIS, "What were you doing? In a box?" Charlie asked, "Oh, um... It's how we got here, Mr. Smith is a very odd man." Lupin answered, "By the way, we need you to help in the sanctuary." Charlie nodded with his mouth gaping open.

Charlie entered the TARDIS, "What do you need me for? Because if you're trying to go into the sanctuary, you won't be able to." Charlie said before the Doctor can ask questions, "Really? I just wanted you as a tour guide 'cause no matter what we're getting in there. How? This," The Doctor waved his hand gesturing at the TARDIS, "I can fly us in. I'm assuming these... DragonHunter people are not allowing you in right? So... We're going to have to sneak in, love sneaking."

The TARDIS took of, "What's that noise?" Charlie asked, "Oh, it's the engine." The Doctor flipped the main lever back down.

The TARDIS had landed, "Here we are!" The Doctor said, "Wait we're in?" Charlie said, "Yeah, it's kind of like apparating in but not, because it can't be stopped with a spell." The Doctor grabbed his coat and wore it.

DRAGON SANCTUARY

All three of them came out of the TARDIS with the Doctor leading, "Well, this is darker than I thought." The Doctor looked around, "Lumos." He muttered, "Shhh." The Doctor walked slowly, "Wait this is muggle stuff." Lupin said, there was some lab flasks.

"Yes, indeed it is, Lupin." The Doctor said, he grabbed one of the filled flasks and grabbed a sample of the liquid inside of it, "I never knew this room, I've never seen it. Are you sure this is the sanctuary?" Charlie looked around, the Doctor nodded and snorted.

"I think someone has been keeping a secret." The Doctor said to Charlie, "Was there, oh, I don't know maybe a new boss before you were kicked out?" The Doctor asked, "Yes! Merlin, yes there was!" Charlie said.

"Well, well, well, hello again Doctor." A voice said, a man...? No a humanoid reptile walked into the room.

Anyways, I'm so happy that Hogwarts Mystery finally came out. Also the exam is getting closer, good news is that I've only really got 5 days of effective school days left. But, of course, there's the final exam.
