Digging for sunsets in the rain

For years, sadness has rattled me like an ice cube kissing the desert floor of an empty glass. I have woken up countless days as a still picture in everyone else's houses but my own. But today, I am learning to sound proof my heart and open the blinds. Today I will no longer be a graveyard and what grows in my gardens is not dead. I now photograph my own reflexions to remind my self to live and keep living. I have made a pact with the universe, that I will dig for sunsets even in the rain.
