Just a few seconds after Maine woke up, her phone started ringing. She reached for it from under her pillow and saw RJ's caller ID on the screen. Maine smiled ad answered his call right away.
"Good Morning, Babe." She heard RJ's deep morning voice greet her. Maine blushed and looked up at the ceiling.
"Good morning din, Love ... Babe ... RJ ..." Maine answered.
"I have good news for you. I've been trying to keep it a secret for the past couple of days now but I can't contain it any longer."
"Ano yun? Buntis ka? OMG." She said and RJ laughed a bit.
"No, but if I am pregnant then kelangan mo ako panagutan."
"Enebe ... emeghed."
"Do you wanna know the good news?"
"Yes! Oo naman."
"I got my job back."
"Hah?! Nice! Congrats!" Maine told him.
"Thanks! And as a way to celebrate, can you go here quickly?" RJ asked her.
"Huh? Bakit naman? Anong gagawin? Magluluto ba? O pinag-luto mo na si Cherry?"
"Nope. It's something else."
"Ano yun?" Maine questioned him.
"Shower tayo bago ako pumasok."
"RJ!!!"

RJ ended the call with a smile on his face. Maine said she would be coming over and so he immediately told Cherry to cook some breakfast.
"Parang ang saya mo ... pupunta ba siya dito?" Cherry asked him and RJ nodded right away.
"Eh kumusta kayo ni Carter?"
"Sus, wag mo ngang ipa-alala yung mokong na yun."
"Bakit naman? I thought you two are friends now? After that ... steamy action back at the resort?" RJ asked and Cherry glared at him.
"Susmaryosep ... nakunakunakunakunaku ... kapag may nabuo siguradong puputulin ko yung ano niya."
"Yung alin?"
"Mga pangarap niya sa buhay."
"Ahhhh ... kala ko kasi-"
"Pati yon." Cherry answered and RJ's eyes widened.
"I'm just gonna call Carter and tell him to go back to India right away."
Maine arrived at RJ's house one hour later. He immediately opened the gate and welcomed her in. RJ carried her bag on his shoulders and led her straight to the garden where Kirby was playing.
"Hello Baby Kirbs!" Maine greeted before planting a kiss on the little boy's cheek.
"Ako walang kiss?" RJ asked before pouting his lips.
"Enebekese? Emeghed ... Shege ne nge." Maine answered before kissing him on the lips. RJ felt his heart flutter the moment their lips touched. He looked away for a second to hide his red cheeks.
"Daddy? Where's my baby brother?" Kirby asked, causing RJ and Maine to look at each other.
"Buddy, mag-almusal ka muna bago ka maghanap ng kapatid, okay? Tsaka gagawa muna kami ni Mommy Maine mo sa shower room."
"RJ!"
"Just kidding! I mean ... we'll get there when we get there." He blurted out right away.
