I woke up st a familiar place

My eyes hurt, i feel tired and depressed
I miss my dad.. i miss my mom
Why does everyone keep leaving my alone?

Taehyung's nowhere to be seen

I sat up on his bed and reached for my phone

Everyone is being so nice. I should be happy. No.. how could i be happy right now?

There was a knock on the door

"Jiminie.." Tae came in holding a tray "i made you breakfast"

"Thank you, but i don't really feel like eating" i couldn't even bring myself to fake a smile

"You need to, though. You can't get sick. I'll feed you" he said holding a spoonful of scrambled eggs.. that's pretty much all he could do related to cooking
"say ah..."

"That's not necessary, Tae"

"Ah..." he insisted

I sighed and complied "ah..."

He looked relieved that i was eating and smiled at me.

Had been a while since i last saw that smile.. and i had missed it

"Tae.."

"Dont say anything, just eat.
The house is empty and no one knows you're here. So you can stay for as long as you want and nobody will bother you"

"Tae" i put my hand over his "Thank you"

"You shouldn't thank me. I've been a horrible friend. I've said terrible things to you, when the only thing you deserve is love"

"I thought you hated me" I couldn't just tell him i heard him last night

"Silly" he ran his fingers through my hair
"I could never hate you. You are the only reason this life is worth living.
And i just want you to be happy"

"Then why didn't you make me happy?"

Taehyung stared at my eyes

"Because i was a fool, Jiminie. I still am.."

he caressed my face before putting down the tray and standing up. He kissed my forehead and was about to head to the door.
"Please get some rest. You're exhausted"

I grabbed his hand, almost shaking, and he could feel it. I was terrified

"P-please don't leave me" my voice almost cracking

He smiled gently at me

"I will never leave you again, my princess.."
