Elevator || Larry

End:

(all the lights in the elevator suddenly come back on, it starts moving upward once again)

(Harry looks over to see Louis looking down at the floor with a sad expression on his face)

Harry: (furrows brows) "What's wrong? you look a little.. sad."

Louis: (sighs) "It's nothing.."

Harry: (grabs arm) "It's okay. You can tell me."

Louis: "It's just.." (pauses) "I'm kinda sad the elevator's working again."

Harry: "Really?" (confused) "Why? I thought you wanted nothing more than to get out of here?"

Louis: "I do. I mean.. I did." (looks up) "That was.. before I got to know you."

Harry: (blushes) "It doesn't have to end you know."

Louis: "It doesn't?"

Harry: "No.." (grabs hand) "I really like you and I want for us to continue talking. It's not like we'll never see each other again just because the elevator started working again."

Louis: (squeezes hand) "Promise?"

Harry: (nods) "I promise."

(the elevator stops at floor 10)

Louis: "Oh look. Floor 10."

Harry: "Our floor."

(the elevator doors slide open, revealing an empty hallway)

Harry: "Can I walk you to your room?"

Louis: "I'd be offended if you didn't." (chuckles)

(Harry's grabs Louis' hand, leading him out of the elevator)

(they slowly walk down the hall before Louis points to a door on the left)

Louis: "This is my room."

(Harry's mouth gapes)

Louis: "What?"

Harry: "I'm literally the door right next to you. How did I not know we were neighbors?"

Louis: "Wow.." (Louis bites lip) "Small world, huh?"

Harry: "Yeah.." (slow nodding) "Small world."

(lingering silence)

Louis: (clears throat) "Well.. I uh, better get some sleep."

Harry: "Yeah.. me too."

Louis: "Thanks for a great night, Harry."

Harry: "You too, Louis.."

(Louis slowly stands on his tippy-toes, kissing Harry's cheek)

Louis: "Good night, Harry." (whispering) "Stop by anytime."

(Harry blushes, watching Louis unlock his door)

(Louis walks inside, getting one last look at the curly headed boy outside of his door before shutting it)

(just as Louis shuts the door completely, he hears a small knock on his door)

Louis: (opens it) "Yes?"

Harry: (sexy smirk) "It's anytime."

(Harry and Louis tackle each other into a deep kiss)

(Louis pulls Harry into his apartment before slamming the door shut, turning a once terrible night; into the start of something beautiful)
