Roman opened his eyes, gasping as he looked around.
Purple seaweed flowed with the gentle current, glowing plants illuminated the ground below him and giant sea creatures floated around, glowing markings covering their body of all colours.
He heard a soft giggle and looked up, turning bright red at the sight of a girl around his age, shirtless and staring at him with her long and silky looking black hair.
"I-I'm so sorry" he stammered, hoping she could hear him from behind his helmet and the girl smiled, coming from behind the rock to show a long tail.
The tail was long and powerful, spikes extended from the back of it and a fin on her back, the tail itself marbled black and grey.
Scales winded up and down her sides, back and arms, swimming closer to him, Roman was stunned by the vivid green eyes and freckles decorating her face.
The girl smiled and cooed softly, bringing her fingers to trace down Romans clear helmet and she smiled sweetly, offering him the dropped wrench.
"Thank you..." He said, taking the wrench carefully from her making the girl smile, markings on her face glowing before she kissed where his forehead would be and swimming off, leaving a stunned Roman to swim back to shore.
