Luke's POV
"C'mon, angel. You get to go to Aunt Leia and Uncle Han's house tonight! Aren't you excited!?" he smiled and stroked his four year old daughter's blonde hair. She was playing with her model x-wing in his lap, flying it in the air.
"I guess." She pouted, putting the toy down. "I just wish I could go with you, Daddy. I like (Y/N)."
Luke smiled. "I know you do, but I'm taking her to dinner tonight." He bragged. You two had only been on a few dates, but he had fallen hard. His little girl had only met you twice, but she completely adored you.
There was an awkward beat of silence between her spoken words. Luke braced for the worst. He was afraid she would say something bad about (Y/N).
"Daddy, is (Y/N) going to be my new mommy since I don't have one? Are you going to get married!?" she squealed while turned to look at Luke.
He chuckled. "I sure hope so, Princess, someday." He kissed her head while day dreaming about your sweet future.
