The Inside Story

Chapter 2

So Faith and Elie saw the cabin, and walked towards it . They presumed it was abandoned. They walked in and immediately regretted it,as flaming hot churros flew at their faces. ¨Stay back! I have hot oil!¨ Malory screamed.

Elie quickly picked up as many churros as she could, and ran away. Faith just stood there, eyes as wide as dinner plates. Some random homeless person named Lily, came in and started eating them off the floor. Turns out they were still super flamin hot on the inside. Lily started breathing fire. Elie ran back in the door with an armful of roasted ducks. ¨I fed them, and they cooked from the inside out.¨ She said innocently. Lily then passed out, because she had a heat stroke. As the night approached Malory began to trust theses strangers, as she was weird like them. By the campfire that night, they discussed how they got to be here. Meanwhile Zeus got into the marshmallows, because he thought they looked like sponges. All of a sudden they heard a faint musical noise, it got louder, and louder. They saw a figure walking through the mist, with something in their arms . It was .... Headphones (bassoon in arms) ¨What¨ Malory whispered. ¨I heard my twin got run over by a bus¨ He said. He sat down. ¨ Do you guys have any marshmallows?¨ Zeus looked up head stuck in the marshmallow bag . He sneezed and the bag flew in to the fire. ¨Uh.. I think we have more inside, if Zeus hasn't gotten to them yet" Malory said. She walked over to the cabin. She walked in the door. THuNk! She had slipped on an oily churro. Lily looked up. ¨Oops! Guess I forgot one¨. Malory just laid there.¨I don't wanna get up.¨ She said. Zeus went over to her and laid down right on top of her. ¨Oof!¨ she said with a muffled voice. Headphones came over and offered her a hand. ¨Need some help up?¨ " Sure¨ Malory said blushing while Zeus reluctantly got up. He helped her up and smiled, walking back back to the fire. Suddenly Lily jumps out of the woods wearing an American flag as a cat. She had on a hat, with more flags attached, and was holding a squirrel wearing a another cape. She yelled ¨ I'M A GIRAFFE¨ Then Malory says¨ I thought you were American?¨ She then realizes ¨ Aw, Crap! I forgot the marshmallows.¨ I'll go get them!¨ Elie pipes up. ¨ Okay, now what?¨ Malory said as she sat down by the fire. ¨I have no idea.¨ Headphones says as he sits next to her. As Elie comes out of the cabin, she says¨ Lets play a game!¨
