Synopsis: After a terrible car accident, 25-year-old Zhang Xiao (Liu Shi Shi) travels from modern-day China back to the 18th century. When attempts to return to her life in the future fail, Rouxi tries to adjust to her new life in the court of Emperor Kang Xi but soon becomes entangled in the princes' struggle to succeed the throne. Comments: If you've heard of the Korean drama "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo", this drama is the original Chinese drama that the Korean drama was adapted from. There is definitely differences between these dramas. And all I can say is that the original made me bawl as much as its Korean remake ('༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ')
