It was a summery day in June of 1975 that started of a chain of events that would reshape the futures of many. The destined meeting of light and darkness had arrived.

Solis had just finished cleaning when there was a feeling that something was off. The house's floors were waxed, the shelves were organized, there was no crumb in sight yet there was an unknown feeling looming. She had always loved moonlight cottage with its breathtaking view of the greenish blue sea. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel at home and safe. Solis drifted off into a thought of the cottage before she looked out at the window again.

Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the warm figure of Hope Lupin coming home from her bakery shop. Hope was a small woman with dirty blonde hair and soft hazel eyes who showed kindness to everyone she greeted. She was the proud owner of Riddikulus Pastries and the wife of a proud ministry worker. Years earlier, she had been a commission painter and had been asked to paint the woods where she, unfortunately, met a boggart. Luckily, Lyall Lupin saw her in distress and expelled the boggart. They quickly fell in love and were married within a month. After the honeymoon, they bought the moonlight cottage and started their lives together. A few years later, they were blessed with a baby boy who they named Remus John Lupin. They were a happy family that enjoyed every moment that is until the day before Remus's fifth birthday. Lyall had been dealing with a double child homicide that the werewolf, Fenrir Greyback, had committed, but there was no evidence to prove him guilty letting him loose once again. Lyall was angered at this and voiced that greyback deserved death. Greyback retaliated by sneaking into young Remus's room and bit him turning him into a child of the moon. The Lupin family household became a place of worry and fear as each full moon approached. Lyall and hope did all they could to help their son, but it would never be enough to soothe the pain.

Hope finally reached the front door and put the key in the lock before walking in.Solis watched for a moment more before turning invisible.

"How is that this place always looks so nice and yet we do not clean that often", Hope said in awe as she placed her bag down on the chair. She sat down and closed her eyes with a peaceful look on her face.

Hope softly chuckled as she opened her eyes,"You do know that I can see you, my Dear Little Fae".
