~a month later~

i still was pretty unhappy without shaina in my life. she was my love and now she's wit someone else. that's messed up. but oh well. she came and went 🤷🏽‍♀️

i went to a gardening class and then went to the grocery store and walked home. but one the way home i noticed some cute light skinned boy. and he looked at me up and down and chuckled and turned around "hey girl!" he said biting his lip.

i turned around and played hard to get "yeah?" i said rolling my eyes. "hey shawty why you answering so mean like i was just tryna make a friend!" he said laughing. i rolled my eyes again and tried to keep walking but he kept stopping me. "hey hey hey your really pretty tbh. what's your name?" he said smiling. he had a pretty nice smile.

"name's kehlani. and you areeeeeee...?" i asked. "Tone" he said smiling. "well my names tony but everyone calls me Tone." he said nodding. "i'm not like everyone so nice to meet you tony" i smiles and turned around and kept trying to leave. "hey hey hey i have a question kehlani" he said touching my shoulder. i looked at his hand and then him signaling him to get tf off me and he followed my look

"what?" i asked moving my curls out my eyes. "do you wanna go on a date?" he said with a smile. his freckles were the cutest ever. "we just met. your basically a stranger" i said as i shook my head. "that's the point of a date right? is to get to know each other right?" he said smiling. "no not really!" i said laughing "but you kinda have a point, Tony. ughhhh maybe i'll let you slide" i said nodding

Tony smiled and nodded "you won't regret it alright?" i scoffed "mhm let's see bout that" i said nodding and chuckling as i turned around and walked back home.
