after my emotional blow up with javie , i just been chilling honestly
i was bored and everybody i knew was doing something so i called one of my best friends , Rome to go out to lunch with me
"hey wanna go to lunch?" i texted him
"yeah lemme get ready . do you want me to meet you ?" he asked
"nah i'll come pick you up" i texted back.
i put a crop top on with some high waisted black pants on with some sandals. i saw my ass lookin real fat so i took a pic of it

i laughed so damn hard so i posted it . i brushes my hair and did my makeup a lil and dressed adeya up and put her in the car seat and i drove to Rome's house
he got in and smiled at me and i smiled back . "you brought the lil nugget wit us?" he laughed. i did too and nodded "yeah she can't be without me and i can't either so why not?" i laughed and pulled out
i drove and he took over the aux and played while we wait and the first song that came on was RPG and he was singing along so i decided jump in.
"SHOW ME YA LOVE, SHOW ME YA LOVEEEEE" i hopped in while he was recording
"this wasn't a duet!" he said laughing. i kept singing terrible and driving and i heard adeya squealing in the cutest way possible
"see she loves it!" i laughed. he shook his head and laugh
we went to the mall and i carried adeya's seat and i went into a couple stores before we got some food
i went in forever21 and i tried on this skinny ass jumpsuit and i stepped out and asked Rome to rate it
"rate. 1-10" i spun around for him and posed all around and he smiled softly
"11"
"oh you out there just making me feel good!" i laughed
he smiled and stared at me while i walked back
i changed back into my regular clothes and i dropped my phone on this hard fucking floor.
"fuck!" i said out loud and covered my mouth hella quick. Rome laughed and grabbed my phone and handed it to me but then my hair got stuck in his pin on his jacket
"oh wait.."
"hold on i got it" i grabbed the pin and unhooked it out my hair before i could pull anything. "whew okay we good" i brushed my shirt down and i looked up at him and we was close like never before
we locked eyes and i swear butterflies just flew out my throat and into my stomach.
"i..um..we should eat!" i picked up adeya's seat and got out of the dressing room stall and i could tell he felt awkward too
"YEAH yeah let's go" he rushed out with me to the food court
i could tell that he liked me. but i didn't think i was ready for someone else to play with my feelings. but the other side of me keeps telling my heart he's so damn fine so imma let him in. but ion know
i ordered a gyro and fries and he ordered some chinese food. i held adeya and started feeding her
"thanks for letting me come out here with you. you know how bored i was at home" he laughed starting conversation "yeah i needed a friend to hang out with besides this lil nugget" i laughed too
"so what else you gotta do for today?" he said slurping his noodles. "getting my hair done then chilling"
"okay that's good" he nodded, eating. "but kehlani i wanna talk to you about something"
"what is it?" i looked at him and started eating
i started to sweat a lil
"so i know we've been friends for a lil bit but it feels like i've known you my whole life. so i just wanted to know if you wanted to take our broship" he laughed and so did i but nervously, "to the next level?"
i chewed my gyro. "Romeo" he chucked. "i like you too...but i'm just not ready for a relationship cause i split from my adeya's dad recently. i'm just tryna slow down. nothing against you cause i really REALLY like you and you know i'm shy and awkward and shit so yeah i would love to date you. but just not rn."
i touched his hand and he nodded and held it and locked his fingers with mine. "best believe when you ready , imma be here ready to swoop you off your feet" he kissed my hand and i giggled stupidly
i swear he made my heart flutter more than anyone has ever did these days. he's been making me happy lately and he knows who he is
i might let him in.
