"Come to band practice today" Luke tells me.

"It's a Sunday, don't you guys usually do it through the week?" I ask.

"Yeah, but this is a special one"

"Did you get another gig?" I ask him, looking up from my phone, feeling just a little bit excited at the possibility.

"No, just come along though?"

"Sure thang burger ring"

"Knock Knock"

"What is it with you and all these knock knock jokes?" I ask and he rolls his eyes.

"Knock knock"

"Ugh, who's there?"

"Olive"

"Olive who?"

"Olive you"

"Aw that's a cute one I like that one" I laugh, poking his cheek.

"That reminds me of the day I met you" He grins. The little shit knows he's a cheesy little bastard and he knows how cute he is, you can tell by the stupid smile he always has on his face after he says something like that.

"You don't stop, do you?" I ask.

"Don't stop, doin what you're doin" He sings.

"What song is that?" I ask.

"I don't know, one of ours" He shrugs.

"It's so weird that you have your own songs. Like, it feels weird to think that my boyfriend makes songs and he's in a band. God, I win at life" I laugh and he pokes my nose, before proceeding to poke my face. He turns his attention to his phone screen while still poking me mindlessly and he ends up getting me in the eye. "Luke!" I yell, covering my eye with my hand.

"Oh shit, sorry" He laughs, putting his hand over the hand on my eye.

"I'm blind! The earth is nothing but blackness, oh god I will never see the beauty of the world again!" I shriek. "Oh, the horror!"

"Calm down" Luke chuckles, stroking my face.

"Stop petting me I'm not a fucking dog"

"You're in a really weird mood and I love it" Luke says and I wink at him, even though one of my eyes is covered so it probably just looked like I was blinking weirdly.

"How's your eye?"

"Blinded"

"That's good"

"Luke! Guess what!" I shout.

"What!?" He yells back at me.

"Knock knock"

"Who's there?"

"Dishes"

"Dishes who?"

"Dishes me, who is you?" I say before bursting into laughter, rolling around and clutching my stomach.

"Even I could come up with a better one than that" Luke laughs, but I'm almost positive he's laughing at me and not my joke.

I continue to laugh until eventfully I roll straight off the bed with a short yelp. And then I laugh harder, and Luke joins in.

"Come here" Luke says, holding his hand out for me and he pulls me to my feet, and then I jump on the bed next to him.

"Hey, my scars are almost all just marks now" I tell him.

"So, they're healing?"

"Yeah, a lot of them are still scabbed but they're fading a bit"

"That's good. We can finally move on and forget" He smiles at me and I nod.
