The next day, Luke and I walked around the town for the day, walking into shop after shop, hardly even buying anything, we were just looking around as if we had the money to buy anything. My feet were aching, and I was regretting wearing sandals more and more with each second that went by. I hadn't complained about it once yet, but it was becoming too much to handle.

"Luke?"

"Yeah bub?"

"My feet are killing me" I groan.

"Do you want to go and have a rest in that café?" He asks, pointing across the street.

"Yes please" I sigh, and he holds onto my arm to support me as I painfully walk across the road. He sits me down on a chair inside and I bend down, undoing my shoes and slipping them off, running my finger along the angry red line the straps had imprinted in my foot.

"I'll go get some menus" Luke says, leaning over and kissing my forehead before walking to the counter, where he smiles at a pretty red head who smiles back. I feel that burning sensation inside of me as I watch them, and I groan at myself. Here we go again.

He comes back and hands me a menu, and I thank him before flicking through all the foods and drinks, deciding on a cappuccino as I wasn't hungry.

The red-head comes over a few minutes later and I take a deep breath to stop myself from saying something stupid.

I try not to focus on my need to out sharp things in her eyes and look at Luke instead, and it calms me down remarkably. Until she laughs at something he said and I'm suddenly not so calm any more.

Luke looks at me weirdly, and then turns back to the waitress, telling her both of our orders and she walks away with a smile.

I sit in silence for the rest of our time there, and Luke keeps his cool until we are out of the cafe.

"You have got to be kidding me" He bursts out.

"I'm not doing this here" I say, storming off in the direction of our motel.

"We shouldn't be doing this anywhere" He sighs, and I just walk faster. I walk all the way to the motel, and I'm glad that I had the key in my bag, and not in Luke's pocket. I take the stairs instead of having to be in the elevator with Luke, and walk up them as quickly as I possibly can. I reach our floor and walk to our room, jamming the key in the door and pushing it open, leaving the key in the lock and sitting down on the bed. I pull off my disastrous shoes and throw them onto my bag just as Luke comes in, pulling the key out and slamming the door shut.

He slams the keys against the tad next to the bed and steps out of his own shoes.

"You're not serious" He groans, standing in front of me.

"If all these girls had a movie, it'd be called 'Race To Bitch Mountain'"

"You'd definitely win that race" Luke snaps and I glare at him. "I can't believe you"

"You can't believe me?" I say in disbelief.

"Yes! What did I do wrong!?"

"Yo-"

"Nothing! The answer is nothing!" He shouts.

"I-"

"No, Katie, I'm not putting up with this anymore. If you don't trust me to even breathe in the same room as another girl, then maybe this isn't going to work out"

"Are you trying to break up with me?" I ask, my jaw going slack.

"No! You know that's not what I'm saying. You don't trust me-"
