Camila's pov,
"Have a date with me Cabello" I rolled my eyes walking past my co-worker "no Y/n just get back to work" I mumbled fixing the books on the shelf "it's literally empty in here" she laughed i bite my lip trying to stop my smile.
Y/n is my co-worker and friend at my job at our local bookstore and as sweet as she is she has asked me on a date everyday since she met me which was a year ago, she is very cute and beautiful but we have a rule at work that we can't date co-works so I try my hardest to avoid to accept her offer she's even told me she'll quit if I agreed to that date. I've never said yes because well I was nervous to actually date anyone after a bad break up but shes so sweet I don't want to hurt her , I actually like her a lot we have a lot in common.
"One little date" she came over to me standing in front of me with that adorable smile I took a deep breath and turned "no Y/n plus I might be seeing someone" I mumbled shutting my eyes and cursing myself out why the fuck did I say that,
"Oh..um who?" She asked coming around to face me she had these sad puppy dog eyes and a little pout that I just wanted to kiss away but i held myself back "You don't know him"
"Oh it's a guy okay" she nodded and forced a smile that I could tell so quickly "well if it doesn't work out have that one date with me" she teased making me giggle she smile going over to the back.
"So you have a date today?" Lauren teased wiggling her eyebrows "Yes but not with Y/n" her smirk fell with a groan "I hate you I was excited for a second" I giggled taking a seat across from her, Lauren is my childhood friend we are best friends since second grade and she also works at the book store,
"Who do you have a date with?" She added with a smile "with Matthew" she slightly jumped shocked "what?! Don't tell me Mr. Hussey as in our health teacher in high school" I blushed taking a drink of my water "uhhh who knew Camz was into old people" I laughed setting the glass down "he's not old were just 8 years apart" she raised a brow crossing her arms "he's 30 that's what I know and your what oh yeah 20 that's ten !" I rolled my eyes and our waitress came over.
"Ugh I can't stop thinking that you might date our old high school teacher" I laughed paying my part of the bill "he's not a high school teacher anymore" she sighed following after me "Well he's still a high school teacher to me" I laughed "I knew he was into in high school always checking on you and help with what ever you needed even offered to take you home gross" Lauren added with a grossed out look I laugh walking back into work
"One date?"I stumbled back when I was met with flowers in front of the door I raised a brow with a slightly smile she moved the flowers to the side to flash me her beautiful smile,
"Y/n no" her smile die down slightly and she sighed "okay well hope you like the flower I'm leaving for the day" I grabbed hold of the flowers and she gave Lauren a wave before walking out
"Ugh she's so cute" Lauren mumbled taking the flowers from me "date the poor thing you might actually fall for her" she added placing the flowers down I sighed feeling my heart flutter just looking at them she really is an adorable person.
~One month later~
"I'll see you later today?" Matthew added grabbing a hold of my hands "I don't know I might be closing the store and I have a few papers for chemistry to finish" he nodded with a smile "Okay if not i'll help you with your papers" he offered smiling I giggled with a nodded he placed a kiss on my cheek and left out the front,
"Didn't we finish the papers yesterday" I jumped feeling Y/n's hands on my hips I turned to face her I was going to pull away but I couldn't ignore the fire in my belly with just her one touch
"I have more school work then just that" she smiled nodding "true also I could close the store alone if you want" she pulled me slightly close I knew I had to pull away because I've denied her date offers before and I'm dating someone but since a month ago when we just been hanging out I can't help my feeling that has grown but I really really like Matthew,
