Avoiding

Natasha tried to avoid Bucky. She didn't want to fall in love with him. She didn't want another Bruce incident. She sat in her room, starving.
"I can't go out there.. I may see James," Natasha muttered to herself. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Natasha asked.
"Its.. James," said the voice at the door. Natasha's heart stopped. What did he want?
"Uh.. I'm busy," Natasha said, sitting up from her bed.
"Natalia, are you trying to ignore me?" James asked.
"...yes," Natasha murmured, as she opened the door. She leaned on the doorway. James walked in, sitting on her chair. Natasha sat down next to him.
"Why?" Bucky asked, looking into her eyes.
"I.. I don't want another incident," Natasha said, staring down at her hands.
"Incident?" James asked.
"I dated Bruce.. we weren't right for each other," Natasha said.
"That's not an 'incident' that's a breakup. It happens all the time," Bucky answered.
"This is different.." Natasha stated, "I can't run away from this.."
"Then don't... walk up to it," Bucky concluding, getting up from his seat. Natasha didn't want him to leave. She walked out of her room, and headed to Bruce's laboratory.
