Um so just to let you guys know, I'm a Filipino so I'm following our way of education which means things will get a little confusing but I guess they aren't that many differences... I guess (?)
Naomi sighed in content once she felt her bruised up body relax in the bathtub filled with ice, the cold bringer shiver down her spine.
"You should stop this."
The girl scoffed and closed her eyes, trying to let her body relax and somehow get used to the cold bath.
"What are you doing here"
The boy visibly gulped and felt goosebumps run down his whole body by the sudden change of atmosphere, her husky and deep voice wasn't helping either.
"To help you"
The boy heard a chuckle, it wasn't the good kind, then he heard water being splashed. The dark silhouette of her body showed, standing, hands on her chest area. The boy felt heat rising up his cheeks and he was praying the other wouldn't notice it.
"You? Help...me?" The last word came out a little high pitched than intended but Naomi couldn't care less, she reached first the shampoo bottle and squeezed a generous amount on her hand before seating back down the tub, she heard a heavy sigh and watched as the boy's silhouette sat down on the toilet.
"I've done it before..."
"So i- "
Before he could finish his sentence, Naomi opened the curtains, revealing her soaped up body, her hair down covering her chest area. She glared at him and pointed at the door.
"Yeah you did. So? Get out already"
Nathan didn't budge, instead he mustered up all his courage and walked towards the bathtub where Naomi was currently in, naked. He gave her the most scary look he could do and leaned in a bit, admiring how her eyes stayed the same besides the drastic change on her body.
"No"
He answered simply, voice laced with firm as his gripped the tub, his knuckles turning white. Although he was a bit flustered, he was used to seeing the other in nude, just not completely nude. And the other doesn't seem to care.
"Just get out"
Nathan shook his head and crossed his arms on his chest, still glaring at Naomi. He knew if he got out the other would just lock the door and that he would have to search the whole house for keys.
"Fine then"
Naomi stood up and covered her downside but not even bothering to cover her upside, she was thanking Ellen for not cutting her hair short and just let it grow, otherwise Nathan would've used his hands to cover it himself from being so stupid. She ignored Nathan's surprised expression and went out of the rub soaking wet, she walked towards the dresser, passed by Nathan who looked like he just saw a ghost.
Naomi picked an v-neck cut red t-shirt, skinny ripped jeans, her panty and bra. Turning around she smirked and held the bra up.
"Wanna help?"
Nathan blushed a furiously, his face tinted all the shades of pink. He shook his head and coughed, turning around to face the cream white wall. Suddenly the thought of what happened before this played in his mind, the horrible sight of blood and fists shared between them and the way her face showed no emotions.
"A- are you...o-okay?
Nathan was afraid to ask, because he was afraid of the wrong answer, although he knew it wasn't 'wrong' he just wanted a different answer and he won't stop asking until he gets what he wants to hear.
"I'm beaten up, I need stitches and the bathtub is covered in blood"
She listed as she dress up, pulling up her pants. She put on her v-neck shirt and sighed heavily, massaging her temples.
"You should get out"
Nathan didn't fight it anymore and went out, not before leaving a noxious wrapped in blue girt wrapper and a golden ribbon on top. He smiled sadly before closing the door and walked away, a few tears on his face.
What has happened?
Asking herself the same question she went ahead and slouched down her couch not before making sure he was gone. She turned on the TV and her face popped out, Naomi watched in awe in how everything changed so much, just one little mistake and this happened.
"Of course! My sisters were there when I was very little and couldn't talk to many people... but they helped me with it!"
That sweet smile, that energetic personality, she missed it. She missed them, but she had other things to do and she was sure enough that they wouldn't want to be involved in it.
She was sure he did the right thing.
