Nico's POV
I walked through the underworld. My father had said that he had wanted to speak to me. I honestly had no idea why he was helping this much when he resented the people above. He resented that he had been stuck with the worst part of the world. It wasn't really even a part of the world at all, it was the underworld.
I was really just walking around until he told someone to tell me that he was ready. I had been walking past the fields of punishment and Asphodel. Now I stood in front of the gates of Elysium. Something about it intrigued me. Bianca may not be here anymore but something seemed to be calling to me.
I walked inside of the gates after talking to the guards. It was a happy place. I could smell food and see children playing games while adults talked to each other. Even the teenagers were just walking around in groups just talking. No one had any worries or problems. You could call it a paradise, but then, what would you call the Isles of the Blest?
I noticed one of my old friends who was staying here, Leo Valdez. He was sitting down with his mother, talking while fire danced across his fingers. He looked truly happy. I was about to walk past when he called me. "Nico! Wait!"
I turned back around, "Hey Leo. Nice to see you again. What is it?" I asked.
"I just wanted to say hi. Oh yeah and to ask how the others are doing? You know, Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Haze-" he began listing.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I knew who you were talking about. They're fine. Except for a new great prophecy...But they're fine," I muttered. He raised an eyebrow.
"Another great prophecy," he repeated, "What is it this time?"
I took a deep breath, "A journey to the lost underwater land, to release a time-frozen man. The apparent betrayal of a close friend, is crucial in a plan to win. The father of the sky and the heavens, has a plan to be defeated by the power of ten and revenge. Daughter of time and darkness also the power of lustfulness, is the key to a side's success. A war reigns throughout the land, to be ended by a fatal bargain. The powers of the gods shall falter after all, the future to be decided by a demigod's final call," I recited. I'm pretty sure everyone knew it by heart.
"Well I guess that ten is more serious than seven," he joked. Trying to lighten the mood. "Any new members?"
"Two, or three actually. Two semi-primordials named Victor and Mackenzie La Nocturne. Also a son of Zeus named Archer Stryker who we have to revive for the prophecy," I told him.
"Semi-primary-deals?" he repeated. "What's that?"
"Semi-primordials, half mortal children of the first original gods," I corrected.
"Oh. Well, the Mackenzie sounds cute," he joked. I knew he had liked Calypso though.
"She's a daughter of Artemis along with her brother. I doubt that even if you were alive, you would get her," I spoke. I was still a bit irked all the same.
"Harsh man. You like her don't you?" he asked. Thalia already got a confession out of me, I wasn't about to let him get one. So I ignored his question.
"I'm going to go now..." I said.
"Wait! Sorry man, just messing with ya. So anyways, who are they up against?" he shouted.
"Uranus, primordial of the sky," I said.
"We're dealing with the entire family then. First you guys had Kronos, next we have Gaia his mother and now his father Uranus," he joked again. Dead or not, he never changed.
