You Lost Me

CHAPTER 4

When she came inside she found Nate watching TV.  Christina came to him giving a tender kiss on his chick. “I missed you” she whispered.

“I missed you too” Nate turned off TV and grabbed Christina’s face kissing it. “Where have you been?”

“Hanging out with a friend” she smiled. She wasn’t ready to say that this friend was Adam, her ex. But well, she didn’t lie. If he was going to ask she would tell the truth. But luckily for her he didn’t as all he cared right now was her so they continued they little make up session on the couch.

The night wasn’t calm for Christina again. As soon as she was falling asleep parts of the day floated her memory. Everything he said. Each word she remembered perfectly as it continued flooding up her mind. The bad and the good moments of the day where in her dreams as she continued waking up.

He is saying he loves her and kisses her… Kisses her passionately, she could feel his lips perfectly as she part hers to deepen the kiss. Then waking up again realizing it was just a dream. She didn’t kiss him then and wasn’t going to. But as she closed her eyes again his lips were back on hers. She could feel his touch on her body so good as she continued waking up.

Once it was too sharp that she woke up Nate.

“Are you ok?” he asked caringly.

“Yeah, just a bad dream” she smiled as he got her into his embrace. She could feel his warmth. She hoped it would help her to forget Adam. As soon as her eyes were closed she could feel a kiss placed on her neck. She turned around to face Nate as it was Adam face. Again. She woke up abruptly. This time she scared Nate as she almost jumped out of his hands waking up.

“You sure you’re ok” he asked worriedly.

“Just the nightmare continued.” She kissed him softly. “I don’t want to sleep anymore.” She said getting on top of him. “Will you help me to kill some time?” she asked seductively. He promptly agreed.

In an hour tiredness won over them as they both drifted back to sleep. This time Christina slept well. Adam didn’t visit her dreams anymore for this night.

The next day they headed to the airport flying to France. First days they spent in Provence and then in the French Riviera. They were having a lovely time. It was full of romance, cuteness, love, kisses, hotness. Everything the couple in love could wish for. It was one of the best times they had spent together. It was wonderful.

The love he gave her made her extremely happy. She couldn’t ask for more. She was glad to have him by her side, to spend the rest of her life with such an amazing guy. She was truly happy with Nate. This week proved it. And she didn’t want it to stop. She wanted it to continue forever. No worries, no troubles, no nothing but happiness.

The next stop of their honeymoon was the most romantic city in the world – Paris. The couple full of love was walking the city after landing a couple of hours ago. It seemed so romantic till that moment. The moment she saw the billboard. “Maroon 5 in Paris. 27rd May” . It was 26th and they were going to stay in the city for three more days. Why Adam had to choose exactly one of these days to give his concert?

She tried to reassure herself that the city is big and there were almost no chances of meeting him. Why she felt that something should go wrong? Why she felt like she would still bump into him somehow? It was Adam. Everything always goes wrong when he is around. One city. More sure that they would meet. She continued telling herself that it was almost impossible. But it didn’t really worked.
