I'm sorry that i didn't post yesterday, but my internet connection broke.

A couple of days had passed since she talked to Nate. The next morning after that day he went to his friend staying there for some time and Christina stayed at home with Max. She didn’t explain what had happened to her son though he understood that something was wrong. But every time he asked Christina didn’t answer.

She needed to talk to one other person first. She didn’t know what to answer Max when he would start asking questions. So she just continued on telling him to wait, that she would explain everything later.

So as she was finally ready for the talk with Adam she locked up in her room in the evening and dialed his number.

“Hello?” he answered his phone. At hearing his voice Christina realized how scared she was to talk to him. She was afraid of what he might say as she felt scared even to ask for a meeting.

“Hey” she answered with her voice shaking.

“Are you ok?” he asked concerned hearing the worry in her voice. This and previous talk definitely consisted some weird notes in her tone. He couldn’t really get what was that, fear or anxiety.  But he could feel that something was wrong for sure.

“Yes… well, it doesn’t matter. I need to meet you”

“Ok we can go to the restaurant or…” he started but was cut off by Christina sharply.

“No, Better in your house”

Christina’s answer surprised him a lot as he answered with simple “Ok” and then continued. “Tomorrow’s good?”

“Yeah, fine. When you’ll get free?”

“At five I’ll be home. I can see you then?”

“Ok.” She answered. “See you then” she hang up her phone leaving Adam questioning himself what could it be Christina wanted to talk about. This talk was really confusing as he obviously heard notes of fear and sadness in her voice through the whole talk. And she was obviously worrying about something. And questions of what might happen were killing him. He had no idea of what she could want to talk to him after so many time of ignoring him. But it was something important and it scared him.

Christina knocked in Adam’s door at five, as they agreed. Whole day starting from yesterday’s evening to this moment she’d been scared of this moment. And waiting for it was a total torture for her. She continued going through all possible ways of saying what she was going to say. None of the options she had was perfect as she had no idea what Adam’s reaction would be.

“Hey beautiful” Adam smiled opening the door and seeing Christina in front of him. She made a step inside as she ended up in his embrace. It wasn’t tight. He simply put his arms on her waist not knowing what about she wanted to talk about as she seemed worried. He didn’t want to push her anywhere. “Oh, I missed you so much” he whispered.

“Missed you too” she whispered getting out of his hug as she looked up to his eyes meeting them. Her eyes fell onto his lips as she wished to kiss them but she came here not for it. And whatever desire she had she needed to talk to him and she had to stay sober from her feelings to handle this talk.

He watched her as he could notice a sad expression on her face and he was wondering what was wrong. He needed to know. Seeing Christina this way scared him. “Come in” he said as he closed the door and followed her to the couch. “So tell me what’s wrong with you?”

Christina looked down before daring to watch back into his eyes as her hand reached to her belly. She decided not to go for a long twisty talk but to say straight what she came here to say. “I’m pregnant” she blurted out quickly but clearly making sure that he could hear her and understand.
