May's POV
"The winner of this year's Grand Festival of Kanto is... May of Petalburg City!" Yes! I finally won! I beat Solidad and won the Grand Festival! I run forward and hug my pokemon who worked hard, Venusaur and Beautifly.
"Great job! I couldn't have done it without you guys!"
"Congragulations May!" I look up and see Solidad walking forward with her Slowbro and Lapras behind her.
"You too Solidad. Your pokemon were brilliant!" I complimented.
"Thanks but your pokemon were brighter today!"
"Thanks." I said.
Backstage
"May, my little honeybun. You were awesome!" Harley ran forward and crushed me in a bear hug.
"Ye-yeah thanks. Could you let me go now?"
"What? Oh, yes! Sorry dearie." I saw Drew walk up.
"Great job May. You are a Top Coordinator now." he said, handing me a rose. I thanked him and took the rose. He flipped his hair and walked away.
During the party + Drew's POV
I decided not to stay for the party and walked out the door to see May practicing her combinations. It didn't seem to be going well. She sigh and called a different move.
"You're really working hard!" She turns and smiles.
"Well, I have to keep going even if I win. You taught me that right?"
"Hmph. I guess I did. How about you try a combination with one of my pokemon." I suggested, sending out Roselia.
"This provides a chance to find some inspiration."
"Alright lets give it a shot. Beautifly Silver Wind."
"Roselia used Petal Blizzard." The two attacks collided, producing sparkles everywhere.
"Wow," she gasped and continued, "I now, I'll have Venusaur learn Petal blizzard! This will be great. Thanks Drew!" I found myself blushing. Man, why is her smile so cute.
"Whats wrong?" I turned away.
"N-nothing." I stuttered.
"Anyway, I will take that title from you one day. Make sure you're prepared for a rematch." I continued.
"Bring it on." I walked away.
"Good bye Drew. Thanks for everything!" she shouted as I waved.
