"Right now we have a special guest. She's the former dance mentor here in Idol Producer." Lay announced looking at his bestfriend smiling after three whole months without seeing each other.
Later (Y/N) walked to the stage with a stunning charisma and danced to the song she prepared.
After her performance she bowed and smiled though now her smile looks like a smirk.
"It's so nice to have you back here Mentor (Y/N). The trainees missed you especially your older brother Quanzhe. I heard you're in competition like our dear trainees here as well." Mentor Li Ronghao said smiling at her. Li (Y/N) glanced at his brother in his seat then concentrated again. Competing with her Nayeon unnie is the biggest challenge for her there especially when Nayeon called her talentless.
"No need to call me Mentor well I'm not one anymore besides just like them I'm also back at the starting line. Together wirh Jungkook oppa we will do our best to promote our duo 'Lyon X'." She said slightly smiling as she recalled the memory of how they got the name but it quickly fade.
~Flashback~
"You mean there's a lot of people shipping the both of us together?!" She yelled at him questionly when their new manager read some ramdom news about them in the internet. They were at a meeting in a restaurant with their manager for some things to settle like contract signing and such.
"Yeah and they named our ship 'Lyon'. Ly is from your surname while On came from on in Jeon. Since we are having a name hunt for the group why don't we use it?" Her new partner Jungkook stated then send a wink at her playfully. Even if he's kinda scared to girls he still managed to adjusted to (Y/N) because he felt like he needs to protect the girl.
"Sure. It sounds good to me but can we add X in the end to symbolize that we also experienced rejection and we also make mistakes?" She suggested taking a sip from her wine then smirked.
"Of course, it's a good idea. So our final duo name is 'Lyon X'." He cheered as he lifted his wine from the table to take a sip. Knowing the girl infront of him can be both fragile and competative since he saw (Y/N) fight for her reputation as an artist agaist Nayeon who called her useless and talentless while announcing the rankings.

After the show (Y/N) went to her assigned dressing room inside the building. She sighed and looked at her reflection on the mirror thinking about her previous doings. She removed the dark red lipstick from her lips and stared onto the wall not even realizing that she's already singing.
"Looks like you're really sick of all of those drama happening in your life."
Hearing the voice she looked at the culprit's recflection on the mirror to see Cai Xukun looking at her seriously.
"Well yeah. After leaving JYP I felt like all the results of my hard work there disappeared but atleast now with Jungkook oppa everything will be fine. Anyway congrats on getting first rank." She sighed then continue removing the rest of her makeup on her face. She saw Xukun approached her until their lips touched which makes her nervous and shocked. After a few seconds he pulled away then placing a red rose in her desk.
"I-I love y-you but I-I understand if y-you don't feel the s-same (Y/N)." He confessed looking down at the floor being depressed but what (Y/N) said truly shocked him.
"Sorry Xukun oppa but we both know that forming a relationship while being in our situation right now can affect our dreams. I don't want you to risk such thing for this. I know that what you been feeling is just an admiration nothing else. Please for the both of us just ignore and get rid of those feelings. The truth hurts but losing everything is way worst." She stated with a straight face even through inside she's dying. She don't want to hurt Xukun but she can't risk everything.
"Please don't hate me...I'm doing this for the both of us..."
After that she walked out the room leaving behind a broken Xukun. It hurts her to see him helpless and miserable but she needs to bear it. She doesn't know that hurting him will get back to her.
"(Y/N) we received this while you were in China." Jungkook smiled handing a pink envelope to his partner with camera following him. Curious she opened the envelope only to be shocked and a little bit angry.
