CHAPTER 7

ALL TO MYSELF

"Ali," I catch her attention as she's slipping on a cute summery dress.

It's been almost two weeks since we first hooked up, and we've been insatiable. I'm either staying at her place pounding her into the sheets, or she's at mine, riding on top of me on the couch, or in my bed. We even did my fantasy of taking her from behind in her kitchen and up against the fridge. I don't think I'll ever look at that fridge again without getting a semi hard on.

Last week Aiden cancelled again because he was still sick. But this week he's feeling better and so he's coming over, for us all to catch up as friends. Alice is hosting us at her place as Evalyn is working tonight.

"Yeah," Alice answers as she puts some lip balm on her lips, looking at her reflection in the mirror.

I'm lounging on her bed, after having recently showered after another bout of sex. We were cutting it a bit close because Aiden's meant to come over at seven, and at seven I was still balls deep inside of her.

But now I'm dressed and determined to get Alice onto my side. That once I reveal my feelings, she'll see the truth in them, and maybe reveal the depth of her own feelings for me.

"I don't want you to sleep with anyone else," I tell her.

Okay, so my feelings need a bit of coaxing to be let out.

I run a hand through my hair in frustration, I feel like wringing it with my hands. "What I mean is, I want you all to myself."

Alice turns around, leaning back against her vanity table. "Well, lucky for you, you do have me all to yourself."

There's an unspoken 'for now' tacked onto that sentence. It makes me want to grind my teeth in annoyance.

"I haven't slept with anyone else since we've been together," I tell her.

"Well, this is awkward," Alice bites her bottom lip as she looks down at her hands, "because I have."

What? My mouth drops open as I stare at her in shock.

Alice looks up and sees my expression and laughs. "I'm just kidding! God, Eli, you look like someone died."

"That's not funny," I mutter. Totally put off by her poorly timed, poorly chosen joke.

"Aw, you poor thing." Alice comes over to sit in my lap, and runs her hand through my hair soothingly. "I don't know why you put up with me sometimes."

Because I love you.

The words run through my mind, and I don't have the courage to say them aloud.

"I want us to be exclusive." I tell her.

I want us to be forever.

"I want to tell Aiden that we're together."

Alice frowns, scrunching up her face, "As fuck buddies?"

"No, as a couple." I correct her softly.

Please don't laugh at me, I think. Please don't think that this is a joke for me.

She turns in my arms so that she's straddling my hips, her knees on either side of my hips.

My hands involuntarily move to her waist, loving the feel of her pressed against me.

"What are you saying, Eli?"

I take a deep breath. "I like you Ali, and I want to take you on a date."
