"Drive." Clary said to the taxi driver

"And the creepy tentacles came out of the guys face and just vaporized." I said to my mother

"What did the markings look like?" mom asked.

"Who cares mom are you even listening to us?" i asked.

"Did the markings look like these?." she said and on her arm appeared the same markings on the tentacle thing.

"What the hell?" i said

"Everything you saw tonight has a meaning and I've been waiting to tell you this since you two could talk." Mom said.

"Mom what's going on? Are we going insane?" i asked

"No your not the protections are wearing off." Mom said

"What the he'll does that even mean?" i asked .

Then Dot enters and looks around for mom and us.

"They've found us. Magnus called." Dot said.

"Who is Magnus?" i asked

"Dot it's time." Mom said.

"What's happening?" I asked.

"I got a very powerful person angry." Mom said.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"I hid something very important and I won't give it back." She said.

"Why can't you just call the police?" i asked.

"The only policemen you need to call is Luke. He knows everything." Mom said.

Then the wall opens up.

"What's going on? Mom?" I said.

"Everything that I did was for you guys I love you." Mom said.

"Wait mom!" I said.

What did she mean by you guys? I thought to myself

"Go to Luke he'll explain everything and he will hide you" Mom said.

"Hide us from what?" i askes.

"The circle"mom said

"Where's Luke now?" mom asked.

"At the police station." I said.

"Remember I love you she said and pushed us through the portal.

We ended up at the police station and we looked for Luke.

He was in a meeting and he was talking about us.

I started crying.

I headed back to the loft to search for our mother.
