"Again thank you Dr. Jeager. My family appreciates all the help you've been to us. I would have lost my brother a long time ago if it wasn't for you." My voice quieted down as my sentence ended. Davien, my ten year old brother, sat at the Jeager's table reading over a book I was teaching him. He nodded as I held the bottle of pills. Dr. Jeager smiled and patted my head.

"Your family helped mine when we needed it. I appreciate it.........its the least I can do," He nodded as he glanced at my brother before lowering himself to my height. He tapped the lid of the bottle that held 24 pills. Something clouded his eyes, something that seemed to scary to ask about. He lowered his voice before he spoke once more. "These are stronger then the last ones. They will last him 6 years. Two every six months. Viena if you're not careful you'll end up having to have them too to survive. Do you understand?" I nodded before giving a suspicious look to the pills as I put them in my messenger bag then gave the same look to Dr. Jeager himself. What did he mean by this? He sounded like we wouldn't be able to come back anytime soon.

"Now it's time for you to leave." He stated standing straight before his wife Carla walked back into the room with a smile.

"Hello, Viena," She said happily. I grinned and nodded.

"Hi Mrs. Jeager," I turned to my brother. "Davien come on. We're heading out," Davien turned and grinned before closing the book shut and bounding over to where I was standing.

"Thank you again Dr. Jeager. Have a good one Mrs. Jeager," I called over my shoulder before closing the wooden door. My brother grabbed my hand with his free one as we walked over to our horse, Arso. She was raised right beside ourselves growing along with us. I smiled grabbing her reins as we started walking. Two kids walked by us one I only knew as Dr. Jeager's son, Eren and the girl was someone who was adopted by him about a year ago.

It was quite peaceful and I couldn't help but, stop for some bread since we needed some any ways. I tied up Arso to a piece of wood in the alley way with a knot that would prove to be tricky for others. Me and my brother headed in, paid and put the piece of bread into my messenger bag with the pills. But, then there a loud booming noise with quakes from the ground that followed. Then there was the screams of absolute horror. I looked to my brother in fear.

"Stay here." I stated before heading out of the bakery only to be met with people running and screaming. They bumped and shoved me as i looked on with what was happening. Some cilivilians were crying by rocks that crushed bodies and homes alike. Then there was thumps.

There were titan with in the wall.

Terror filled my very being as I turned and ran inside to grab my brother. Fear pumped in my veins telling me to to run, to get away. We ran to Arso where i helpes lift my brother up into her saddle and turned to unknot the stupid rein. My fear and panic made it hard to untie this stupid thing.

"Come on." I screamed when I looked up seeing one heading our way. My breath came in short burst as i shook ans pulled at the reins. My brother screamed and Arso whinned showing their fear. Finally, I was able to undo it. I jumped on behind my brother, grabbed the reins and pushed Arso to go forward. The titan that came our way missed us by a couple of feet. If I hadn't done it then we would have been dead.

I looked behind to see more titans pour in through the broken gate. More to destroy everything here. More to kill and eat who ever was in there way. We were live stock just waiting to die.

We were diagonal from the gate we are headed for and we might meet more titans if were not careful. Davien was crying by now and shaking like he was cold. I 'shhed' my brother as Arso galloped along. Blood rained from the sky and in a effort to keep it off my brother I bent forward so my head and chest went over his head.

"Hang on to Arso then, close you eyes. Don't listen to anything going on around you."

We were so close to the gate when they started to close it. I cried out in trepidation as it happened. Another rumble rattled the ground and Arso stopped and reared up. My brother and I screamed as we held on. Arso turned to enter an alley as an armored giant passed by with speed. Wind and dirt billowed into the alley. I pulled the reins back and made Arso turn back around as the titan busted down the gate that was going to leave us behind.

Though tearing the gate down was terrible I couldn't help but, feel hope in that moment. We would have been left behind to be eaten by those things.

But, we were going to survive thanks to the armoured titan.
