To my Dearly Beloved, why do your eyes shine like a million stars? Why does your hair flow like a thousand golden rays? If I were to look at you for too long, would I go blind from your radiance?

To my Dearly Beloved, how does your voice ring out like pristine silver bells? Do you know what every smile does to me, flowing like honey from the depths of your soul?

To my Dearly Beloved, why should your brilliance ever be captured within the hands of this world's views? The way you speak of all your greatest passions, like a determined lion's roar?

To my Dearly Beloved, do you know that your skin is rough and marred with the signs of a life lived? Or perhaps do you see these flowering scars and marks as a sign of standards not completed?

To my Dearly Beloved, how does one compare to the tears you have shed over another's pain, only to face your own with a blank stare? Have you become numb to it?

To my Dearly Beloved, perhaps reading this now, how do you view me in those starlit eyes? Could I ever live up to your imagination?

To my Dearly Beloved, let us sit in our blissful ignorance a while longer before the sun sleeps and our ways we must part.
