Marshall's P.O.V.

"What's up with you now?" was the first thing I said after to Bunny after she pulled back from the kiss she surprised me with. My smile came to no end, which was crazy.

"What?" she questioned back. "I'm not allowed to kiss the boy I like?" she smirked.

After a small pause, I decided right there to just grab her by the back of her neck and pull her right into me again, me taking control of it. I kissed her soft lips deeper and more passionately. She didn't push me away or protest against it. She accepted it, kissing me the same way right back. And man, did I like the feeling of this.

After we retracted from our hot session moments later, Bunny was the first to speak. "I feel like I'm still on that X. Shouldn't it have gone away?" she laughed.

"It could be something else that's making you feel good," I told her, smiling.

She agreed, telling me she was kidding a little.

I went on. "But that does happen, though. It'll linger around for a few days after sometimes. You enjoy the feeling, huh? Told you you should try it out."

"Yeah, well, I don't think I'd do it again," she replied, her response surprising me.

"How come?" I questioned her.

She sat back, getting comfortable to explain herself. "Because, the happiness I felt when I was on it wasn't real. Like this, you know?" she gave a light push. "Drugs do that, they'll increase the good feeling you get. And in the long run, it'll have a bad effect. It can cause permanent damage. It's like you'll feel dull and boring all the time if you're not on it, them becoming all that you depend on. I don't ever want that. It's why I was hesitant in the first place."

I sat in silence moments after that. "I guess," I admitted, rubbing my neck. "I never really thought about it in that way."

She leaned over and stroked my softly. "Just be careful what you do, okay? Make smart decisions."

I laughed obnoxiously after that. "I'll try," I joked, Bunny rolling her eyes at me after.

Everything that just happened with her did help, however. I found myself going back and writing more things down on my paper. As I did it, I noticed Bunny lean over the next second, curious in what I was jotting down. She spoke up, head still glancing over. "I'm not even going to try to read that. Looks like chicken scratch."

I snorted, continuing to write more lines of my "chicken scratch."

She started again, probably noticing the top of the page where I put my name. "Eminem? I thought all along it was spelt like the candy," she confessed.

"It actually was in the beginning. It wasn't too long ago that I changed it," I explained to her, smirking.

She smirked back at me in an amusing way. That's when I let out a grunt, though, looking back down at my work. I was plain frustrated right now. Her facial expression changed right away, noting me. "What is it?"

I replied to her. "It's just, I wish I could actually speak my mind. Some of this don't even sound like me." I scanned the paper quick. I went on. "If I could just scream out how much I don't give a fuck about some things, just be full-on explicit and shit—"

"Why don't you?" she cut me off.

I laughed. "How's that going to look for me? For my first album? I'm trying to get this played on the radio, if I can. I got to tone it down, make it enjoyable for all. At least for now, you know what I'm saying?"
