Chapter 2 | Meeting the team

It's a new day and you're currently on your way back to the same building you were at yesterday. A cup of hot tea you got from a cafe in your hand you can't help but feel excited to meet everyone. Taking a sip from your tea you keep walking. You could teleport there but lately you've decided to enjoy things around you by walking even if it is just a regular city.
After about ten more minutes of walking you arrive. The same gray doors greeting you as you step in. The building is filled with laughter and chattery, its much more louder than yesterday. You wonder if you were late but by looking at the time on your phone you are still early, did everyone else arrive early as well? The door at the end of the hallway is open this time and from far away you can already see Wade waving his arms around while telling a story to a group of people that are still hidden behind the wall. You happily jog closer.

"Morning Wilson!"
You greet the man as you enter the room.

He turns around, stepping aside so now you can see everyone else in the roomroom as well.
"Oh hi Y/N, and please do call me Wade."
He then turns back to the group.
"Everyone this is Y/N, we have one more person who should show up and then we'll be ready to discuss things."
He announces.

Weasel gives you a small wave, inviting you over to sit beside him and an unknown lady.
"Hey come sit with us."

You walk over to the couch and sit between the two, you turn your head towards the woman.

"Hi, how may I call you?"
You ask her, holding your hand out for a handshake.

She takes your and and gives it a strong and perhaps somewhat frightening shake.
"Name's Domino. And you are Y/N if I heard it correctly?"

You nod.
"So what did I miss? It sounded like you all had a lot of fun when I came in."

She rolls her eyes.
"I guess you could call it fun. You didn't miss much. Wade was just telling us a weird story of how he once got his mouth sewn shut."

"Ugh that sounds painful."
You cringe at the thought of someone having their lips sewn together.

Suddenly there's a short scream followed by the sound of sizzling. You and Domino turn your heads to see Wade laughing his ass off while the guy with the weird hair you saw yesterday looks absolutely disgusted at a puddle of something acidy on his shoe that he had thrown on the floor.

"You maniac what have you done?!"
He screams, obviously disturbed by the fact that his precious shoe has been ruined.

You then notice a man that is laughing next to Wade. It takes you a bit of time before you realize it's the same guy you had also seen yesterday. Now that you have a better look at him you see he is wearing the same casual outfit but with a small mask hanging loosely around his neck. He also looks a lot more attractive up close. Putting the situation together it seem he had caused the accident, if it was an accident of course. The guy who is still mourning his lost shoe crosses his hands and walks over to the three of you and sits on a nearby chair.

"Unbelievable.."
He mutters under his breath.

You can't help but chuckle a bit, sure it was mean but it was kind of funny. You stop though as you see the man send a glare towards you.
