Im back but not for an update.

Lastly, Im sorry.

I have reasons for that. I have been going to my doctor for almost a week now, last year I went to a doctor to ask about my late menstrual period for almost 2 months. No Im not pregnant, I dont even have Boyfriend to begin with.

The doctor told me I have Polycystic Ovaries or Pcos.

*Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a set of symptoms due to elevated androgens (male hormones) in females. Signs and symptoms of PCOS include irregular or no menstrual periods, heavy periods, excess body and facial hair, acne, pelvic pain, difficulty getting pregnant, and patches of thick, darker, velvety skin.

After ultrasound, she told me to take pills and visit her every month after my period.

After medication of 3 months, she told me to comeback after 3 more months. Which is supposed to be last February.

I didnt able to visit her because of work and because I was feeling better.

It was Monday when I visit her.

She told me to do another ultrasound.

She told me that I still have Pcos, its became bigger.

Im scared, I cried.

I was scheduled to do blood testing yesterday.

Hoping for a good result.

I got the result today.

My Sugar is good.

My Thyroid is not.

I cant do anything but look at the result, wishing it will changed.

But it did not.

Im scheduled to meet a Internist that will check on me.

Im scared.

Im not here for some pitty.

Im here to aware every women that can read this.

Pcos is not a deadly condition as my doctor said.

There are many ways to treat it.

But its better to be aware than not right?

You can look about Pcos its symptoms and all.

These days, every women can have this. But if you know about it you can do something to stop it or help others to be aware too. Thats what Im doing.

Doctor's can be scary, but getting sick is much scarier.
